No, Ian ruined it all, because he committed terrible crimes against children, and no drugs are any excuse. For one, you can’t not know the risks of taking such in this day and age, yet he still took them, and that was his choice. Even if somehow he deserved empathy, he was still a danger to vulnerable people and needed to be contained nonetheless. Secondly, the drugs only exacerbated his wrongful moral compass, in which he believed he was above doing anything wrong sexually.

Has anyone actually looked into hi history to know what happened that may have led to him engaging in such horrendous abuse? Calling him names does not actually solve the conditions that led to what he did. In my view it actually perpetuates it. If we are really interested in solving such an issue then we need to get to the root of the problem don't we?

As far as I know his mother said he was a perfectly normal child and I'm sure he was. Somewhere along the lines though he changed. Money, fame and drugs can make people think and certainly do very strange things. Not everybody has to have been mis-treated or sexually abused as a child to become a monster.
Sometimes trying to understand anti-social behavior, childhood psycho-babble doesn't work. Some people are the personification of evil; some humans are too twisted to be part of society. This guy violated the law and normality to an extent that he can never be trusted again. If we were not looking for reasons then we are solving no problems. I do not believe I have seen any evidence of where behavior like this originates. Calling people a Psycho or some other name is an emotional response and does nothing to solve the problem. In fact it actually preserves the effects that cause the problem. If you really cared then you would do some research into the topic about the environmental triggers for abuse.
