- 1 Munro hike. Missed out on the 2nd as mate had an ankle injury. Avulsion fracture and has to wear a moon boot for 4-6 weeks. Will probably take a good 2-3 months to fully recover.

thanks Andy, it did look crappy ground but will need to go back and bag the other at some point. Now having to postpone hiking weekend next week until October, to give mates ankle time to heal. PS - Got a drone (mini 2) last week so watch this space!

Congratulations on 100 munros! Always a good idea to turn back in these situations as the mountains will be there for another day. Hope he has a speedy recovery.
