Wish I would have seen this before I got on airbit but I will say I have not uploaded any beats yet to see if what u are saying is true with that being said still good information u provided
What we know is Airbit is ORIGINAL and they don't do fake follows and purchases, and that might explain why you don't make any sales in the first couple of weeks 😊
I’ve uploaded 100 beats in the past 2-3 months now on airbit and got 1 sale which was from the free $100 promo. Other than that I have seen little to no organic reach on airbit. Beatstars I’d already made loads of sales at the same point just trusting organic traffic to work. That said the priority is always driving traffic to your account cause you’ll get more sales regardless. Airbit has some cool features but organic reach it’s yet to give me any confidence on

theres zero organic traffic on Airbit. I ran promo and it was like shouting in an empty room haha Lesson learned. Wish I'd seen this first.
Does the airbit content id requiere producer to complete a tax form? Do they take 30% if you are from a foreign country that doesn’t have tax treaty with the United States?
5:19 i had no idea that getting *free* downloads was so hard. I got like 80 plays on beatstars and was worried because i hadn't gotten a free download yet

Does airbit take a percentage of the money you make even after paying your subscription?
I was looking into Airbit because the CZcams monetization. Beat stars don't have that? :/
To be honest I'm not looking for a push, I'm looking to promote through CZcams "type beats" and expect people to rip my beats
and i make monetization money.
Best way to go then is get an AirBit account and allow beats to be downloaded free for non profit use. That way artists /rappers can download your beats for free and write over / release them on CZcams. Then AirBit will monetise that and make sure you get paid for your beats

i'm pretty confident Beatstars is still better but it would've been a better comparison if you compared your first month on Beatstars to your first month on Airbit haha
Fair point. I can tell you though in confidence my first month or Beatstars was better than airbit by nearly double going of memory. Beatstars makes it really hard to look at data from specific months. Guess that’s a downside to beaters haha
The main point of this video though was to show people organic reach also should not be relied on to make a decent income selling beats. It’s all about marketing if you want to earn loads. Thank you for your observation. I’ll keep it in mind if I do another video like this. Have a great day !
@@joegautrey_music thanks a ton! And yeah i'm getting tired of studying the CZcams algorithm for hours to only get like 8 views on an upload, not even enough data to know if it's because the beat is bad or because i didn't do some mysterious SEO right.

Same here ! Any sales I’ve got on AirBit have just been a nice extra haha lucky I get enough AirBit sales annually to pay the subscription so it pays for its self
Hey man, what sort of marketing methods/strategies do you use? i get around 3 free downloads per week, with like 70 to 150 plays, but never seem to make a sale through following up on a free download by emailing them.
I used to get them numbers. The way I improved them was focusing more on making sure I was uploading beats consistently that worked for me and growing not only Beatstars but type beat channels. Free downloads are just a reward for putting in the hard graft and growing your Beatstars. I wish there was a quick solution to this but I always keep it real on here and reality is it takes time. BUT if you advertise your beats in as many places as possible and mention the free download options in the content you are posting im sure in time you will see a rise in free downloads
