when veronica said: "i saw the way you looked at steve. you never looked at the other ninety five guys that way" in the first season she really was unknowingly describing fiona's love life throughout the entire show perfectly.
jimmy and fiona are just THAT messy couple to me. completely dysfunctional, a total chaos but they still made so much sense. i feel like the show did all it could to destroy them for me, but like... it's shameless. all the couples and dynamics are a mess in different ways and regardless of bad writing later on i will still stand by that no guy ever loved fiona and the gallaghers more than jimmy did. he had his many flaws, but so did she, and that made them imperfectly perfect in my eyes.
also, justin and emmy's chemistry will forever be unmatched and it's funny to me that the writers tried to recreate it with fiona and her thirty different boyfriends for five seasons straight and failed miserably.
i personally think they're the definition of twin flames and i will always adore them🤍
