  • See how to connect your laptop, tablet and phone to the CloverBook Pro video magnifier to view your device, magnify and change contrast.
You’ll also learn how to apply split-screen view, to see live magnification and your device screen, simultaneously. Use the CloverView extra screen and view your live image and device; each on its own 13-inch screen.
The CloverBook Pro, from SightCare, is a 12.5-inch FHD portable, foldable video magnifier.
CloverBook Pro gives you all the features of a professional video magnifier, but is also super-portable; weighing only 5.3 lbs. CloverBook Pro can also adjust to virtually any reading position.
CloverBook Pro has two cameras; one for viewing on the desk and one for distance and self-viewing. No separate charging is required, nor extra cords needed. Just pop out the distance/self camera, push the 'change camera' button and choose between 1. Close/desk view, 2. Distance view, or 3. Mirror/self view. CloverBook Pro even has a split-screen function, so you can view both cameras at once!
CloverBook Pro can be used with traditional controls, like knobs and wheels, but also can be controlled with the touchscreen. You choose which controls you like, to make it easy!
CloverBook Pro has a 12.5-inch matte touchscreen for maximum glare reduction and ease of use. If you need more screen space, you can plug in a larger monitor. Plus, CloverBook Pro offers the optional CloverView extra screen; allowing you to use two 12.5-inch FHD screens, simultaneously!
CloverBook Pro can scan and read your print documents back to you, aloud. There is also a full-page reading mode that enables you to read the entire page without physically moving your reading material.
CloverBook Pro is the flagship model in the CloverBook line; which also includes the CloverBook Plus and CloverBook Lite. Check out other videos on our channel to see other CloverBook models and comparisons.

You really make good videos, thank you very much! Not sure, can you control your tablet or IPhone with the first or second (touch)screen of the Clearbook Pro? Or can you just watch by these screens? I compared it with Reinecker Vision Mano Edu, but Clearbook Pro have the option of input with the Mini HDMI. By comparing with Magnilink Tab 2, the Clearview could have the better downside camera, but the point, that you can use it as PC/tablet in one is a plus. What do you think?

Thanks for the compliment! And thanks for watching! You can view your PC/tablet/phone through the mini-HDMI connection on CloverBook Pro, as shown. But you cannot control your device, only view it. The magnification and contrast can be changed, but you cannot enter menus and things like that on your computer/tablet by using the CloverBook Pro touchscreen. Magnilink Tab is a full computer, which has advantages and disadvantages. The advantages are somewhat obvious, but many people don't also consider the much longer time it takes to start up the device, versus something like CloverBook Pro that starts up almost instantly. You also need to connect the camera and run the cord, versus just fold it out like on CloverBook Pro. The cost of Magnilink Tab is also thousands more than CloverBook Pro. I guess these are probably the main reasons most people are now choosing something like CloverBook Pro and simply buying a separate laptop; there is more flexibility, lower cost and easier to keep batteries running all day (CloverBook Pro has a user-replaceable battery and you can even get an extra charger and batteries).

@@IrieAT so great, thank you for your answer in detail. My next idea was to use a ms surface instead of the Cloverbooks own 2nd display - to have pc and magnifier in one and both screens very near to face. But surface looks like to thick to place it on the 2nd screens arm/stand. Mercury was another option, but surface tablets own camera isn‘t really good for intensive use.

@@timur1844 Yeah unfortunately, the cameras that come included on MS Surface are obviously not up to the task we need for clear magnification and contrast. And yes, I can't really think of a way to attach an MS Surface to the CloverBook Pro. If you can use a mouse/keyboard, many people use CloverBook Pro to view their laptop screen and control with a wireless large-print keyboard and mouse. Maybe that could work for you?

@@IrieAT yes, thats possible. But not sure if in this case a magnilink or mercury 13 is the better option instead take two devices with me.

@@timur1844 I think this just comes down to a matter of personal preference. If I were you, I'd try to get my hands on these devices and try them in person, before making a buying decision. Good luck!

Does the Cloverbrook Pro work with an iPhone if yes, how do you connect it to one

Hi Nancy! Yes, CloverBook Pro will show your iPhone on its screen(s). You can even change the color contrasts to your favorite and view both your reading and computer/device/phone simultaneously with the split-screen function. Watch at 3:26 in the video to see an iPhone working with CloverBook Pro. Figure out first what connection you have on your iPhone. I have an older iPhone that uses a Lightning connection. Newer iPhones use USB-C.
I used a Lightning to HDMI cable along with an HDMI to Mini-HDMI adapter I found on Amazon. For newer iPhone with USB-C, you can get a single cable that is USB-C to Mini-HDMI.
Here is what you'll need for an iPhone with Lightning connection:
      1. Lightning to HDMI cable:
