Pounded yam and fufu are two different food. Pounded yam is made with yam, fufu is made with cassava. They look alike but taste different.

@@adediransharon12 West Africans cook fufu using different ingredients. In my country, fufu made by pounding the yam with wooden instruments. Garri is shaved cassava which we have with rice and beans. I'm irritated by the slapping fufu trend. If foreigners make fun of us that's one thing but to embarrass yourself is another.

As a Kenyan, Nigerian food was one of the best foods I tasted while working in the UAE. My heart hurt seeing Sharky not like it as much and spit out the cowskin 🥲 I'd have finished that food in the first 5 minutes it looks so 😍😋🤤And I haven't eaten a proper meal in days, going through a really tough time. Send some fufu my way! I'll clean the plate 😂

I know it's taste test, But Sharky wasn't biting a lot to get the full flavor. Put the whole meat in your mouth I promise you will love some of them. And for the fufu and Egusi he can chew it. It's preference as a Nigerian born and raised I chew fufu. So it's not mandatory. And maybe he doesn't like it because the cook wasn't that good. Find a good Nigerian resturant in the UK and next time maybe have more varieties of Nigerian food. Just myy opinion, you guys did good though. Well done.
