The angles, the choice of colors, the choice of palette knife used and ofcourse the entire composition. Its always stunning and always a blissful joy to try and emulate it. You know David, his mother and the rest of their family didn't have to put a video up to invite the the world into Leonid and his wife's home but they did to show a glimpse into their fathers home and the legacy of beautiful art work that he's left behind for the world to see and to show his home the way he left it before he was taken much too soon. The "música ranchera" on this video shows me that he really liked Mexico. Not many artists make me appreciate the colors as Afremov does. Really beutiful work.

Does he still paint? I always loved this vibrant art style but only learnt today that it was inspired by him.
