- This video is an extension to our 3 part series detailing the repair of the PS4 Controller Sync fault when caused by a corruption of the Flash-Main IC rather than a fault caused by a physical failure of the Bluetooth / WiFi module. This video demonstrates the repair on a newer CUH-1200 series PS4 with an SAC-001 mainboard.
In this video we cover how to dump your PS4 NOR flash chip using a Teensy programmer within Windows. We then open these dumps, identify the corruption and repair the corrupt area before re-programing our PS4 NOR flash chip ready for re-installation. We test everything at the end to show it works and we are back gaming once again!

Nice tutorial, Andrew! Good to see SPIway is finally being used for actual repairs / modifications! :-)
Many thanks for the awesome tools without which the repairs wouldn't be possible my friend :-)
Hey Andy, great series of video's mate very informative, thank you
Cheers mate - hope you're well :-)
I'm very well thank you, you?
@@AndrewPaul Hey Andrew, I have a similar issue but on the controller. It syncs, but 5 seconds after disconnecting it becomes unresponsive for 10 seconds. Then it turns on and I have to pair back to my PS4 again. What can I do?
Thank you Andrew, your videos are excellent.
Thank you.
Even after 7 years, you helped me. I love you.
Hi Andrew Ian zahid from Saudia ur videos r the best I had ever seen
Thank you for your demonstration, you are always at the top on all your videos.
Can I ask you if you know where to find the SAC-001 fw 5.00?
I have some firmware but for this revision. Thanks
You're a genius thank you you are the creator
very helpfull video , Thank you my friend, I've done the work, and everything is good now.
Excellent. :-)
Love you Video's. I have a SAC-001 with 5.01 firmware, Will this be the same process?
Hello Andrew thank you for the effort you put into these videos they are great. Have you confirmed that all SAC-001 4+ firmwares share the same templates? I have a NOR dump here from a 4+ firmware machine and the template file is very different from my extracted file. I'm not sure if it is corruption in my file or I need a different template. I can send you the file I have extracted if that helps at all.
Thanks best informations Andrew
Cheers mate.

Hi Andrew. Thanks for your videos. Keep it up. I have a question. Doesn't upgrading to a newer firmware revision just overwrite the corrupt part of the nor?
Sadly not. It would be great if it did and logic would say that it would but sadly if the stack is corrupt then it bypasses the upgrade and falls over (usually to error SU-41283-8 these days). The older FWs would just complete as normal but you'd obviously still end up with no controller response outside of safe mode.
Thanks Andrew ! What camera do you use? 👍
Very good jobs
I am having quite a time finding the Bluetooth/wifi module for CUH-1215A
hi, l have some queries... the first is the following l have ps4 the first console version gives me white ligth and it turns off that he recommends me to do .... Ok and second is that l have another ps4 of the last version smaller card that repairs the white ligth but l do not synchronize the control and it is damagen by an electric ray ..... that l can do there to chance the modulo of bluethooh or to review by other side .... thanks a greeting from Costa Rica
Have a console with the following parameters: CUH-1215A, SAC-001, MX25L25635FZ2I-10G, Rev. 1.2, FW 6.02, 32,768kB size. Size is unusual as all the others I see are around 420kB or so. Do you have this? Grabbed the dump with a TL866II Plus that I already had laying around. I flashed with 5.03 that I found which caused the console to not boot whatsoever and wasn't expecting it to work. Chip placement was perfect and continuity was tested. I reflashed the original binary that was saved at 32,768kB and it's back to it's original state: controller working in Safe Mode but not in OS. Bluetooth module was already replaced, and I've done a couple of those before fine. Only thing I think I could do is grab another SAC-001 with 6.02 and grab the dump from that. Have two other SAC-001s in possession but they have 6.51 and whenever trying to update the problematic PS4 to 6.51 to match, it outputs SU-41283-8 error. Does Bluetooth module revision matter?
Also how would I be able to identify whether it's a Bluetooth/wifi chip or nor corruption issue?
Dear Andrew, thank you for all these videos, excellent job!
I have the 1215A model, SAC Board, 3.15 firmware with the controller sync problem. Wifi/BT Board is AW-NB218 Rev 1.1 This revision of the module appears to be very difficult to find, so I wanted to ask if I could replace the Rev 1.1 module with Rev 1.2 and of course update my flash dump with according code from 1.2 template? Best regards
Hey Andrew! Thanks a TON for your videos. I've learned a lot from you.
I have a CUH-1215A SAC-001 PS4 and neither front USB ports work with neither a controller or a usb flash drive (light on the flash drive does not turn on when I put it into the port). The ports also do not charge the controllers. Originally this PS4 had an HDMI issue and I replaced the HDMI IC and got the HDMI functioning again. I'm guessing this PS4 took a power surge. The controllers also do not connect in safe mode.
Is it more likely to be the bluetooth module, this, or something else?
Thanks!
Hi mate,
Sounds like a defective Southbridge - if there's no power being supplied down to the ports then this is likely the issue.
@@AndrewPaul Thanks Andrew! Appreciate it. Looks like I'll have to buy myself some reballing equipment to replace the chip... Or try a reflow
I have a CUH-1216A SAC-001 ps4 with controller syncing problems. Replaced bluetooth module by a good one and even replaced south bridge chip by a new one. Did not fix it. How sure are you about, that the problem has been caused by NOR flash corruption ?
Providing you're sure it's a good working module then 100%.
Andrew Paul Thanks Andrew! Today I'll go into dept through your video, and see if I can make a list of all parts needed. I have lots of experience with my good old Progskeet 1.0, for reading out nand and nor chips of ps3's. I never liked clips, Just keen on soldering. Can it also be done with that one, do you think. At this moment I consider your video's the best about game console repair. So nice that you take so much time to share all your knowledge. Thanks a lot!
PS: From who did you learn to talk so much ? Was it Louis Rossmann ? ;-) Just joking.
Andrew are you able to show the nor dump for the CUH-1215A ?
Are CUH-1200 (SAC-001) model not that durable? unlike the later CUH 1000 series
From my experiences they're better than the CUH-10xx / 11xx models but not anywhere near reliable.
Is there a way to be sure it is a firmware issue? i want to know if it makes sense to buy a new wifi antenna. Also if there is a firmware issue does anyone do this repair on ebay perhaps?
Hi Master Andrew, i did all the steps but the reading was made with a RT809F programmer, all seemed fine but once did the patching and installed the corrected FW back the ps4 wont boot at all...
Any ideas how to fix this error??
Thanks in advance
Hello Andrew, question :
Why are you desoldering the 32MB NOR chip from the motherboard, in order to read and write to the chip ? I just connected my Teensy ++ 2.0 board, by soldering wires to alternate connection points on the motherboard itself. Reading goes well, as well as writing to it. Even filled a 32MB file with all 0101010101010101's, wrote to it, dumped it and both files were 100% identical.
Also did an erasechip, and the whole 32MB nor chip was full of FF's.
So from my conclusion, desoldering the 32MB chip is not necessary for SAC boards, so my question is : Do you share my conclusion ?
You can likely get away with it to be honest. I've heard some potential issues around that behaviour on older SAA/SAB boards. I always prefer to play it safe (after all these consoles don't belong to me, they belong to my customers) and therefore always take the extra step to remove it. Chances are it'll be fine though.
Yes, I can imagine that you took the safe way. But, when it can be done without desoldering, you will save so much time. I always thought, you desolder because otherwise too much current and voltage will drop because of the connection with the mobo. Most of the times I did SAC boards for checking the NOR, but I can also test it on a couple of scrap boards. Other question about Blinking Blue Light of Death, for SAA and SAB boards, I have a success rate of 100% by reflowing all the BGA chips, but I do not have that with SAC boards. What is your current success rate with SAC BBLOD boards with reflowing all BGA chips ?
To lift the IC and put it into a socket takes all of around 30 seconds to be fair and the same in reverse to refit so for me the timescale is not an issue. If you were lifting it to solder wires then I can see where the time thing might come into play. I haven't seen many SAC boards with the BLOD to be fair to draw any worthwhile conclusions. The few I have seen have usually been down to RAM.
Both ways will require tools and skills, advantages and disadvantages. It would be most handy, when E3 team (or another team) would come with a socket which would be put over the NOR chip in order to read/write to it. No hot air and no soldering would then be required. About SAC boards, I think Sony soldered on the APU better then SAA and SAB boards, so when you have a BBLOD, then it is harder to find the cause. Same with ps3 3004 models with no power, compared to 2 second YLOD on CECHC04 models. On those CECHC04 models, it is nearly always broken solder connections underneath GPU.
Hi, i was wondering you could could show where on the board to attach the wires for this method?i'd be greatly appreciative. thanks
I have a ps4 cuh - 1215th , is not syncing controls, apply heat to the bluetooth module and run 3 hours, must be changed or nand is corrupt .
If reworking the module is making it work, chances are one of the small surface mount resistors around it are bad - the heat is bringing them back within spec for a short time. Test against a good board with a DMM and replace any components which don't match up.
+Andrew Paul and damage the module . This is compatible with my console cuh - 1215th ?. s11.postimg.org/53noctnab/20160908_173414
You'd need to replace the WiFi module with the same model and hardware revision on the CUH-1200 series PS4s. Failure to do so may result in the machine failing to boot.
Do you know if this can work in cuh-2015A?
a query how do I find out what chip model a ps4 slim model cuh-2015a needs because the one it had on the metal sheet was erased and the ic is a 88W8897-NMJ2 and the truth is I don't know which one to replace I can't find any reference If it will be the j20h091, the AW-NB218 or AWCB262, if anyone knows which is the one that handles the aforementioned ic, please help me.

Dear Andrew, thanks for you kind videos but im in need of your help. I have a cuh1200 series which is facing the controller sync problem from a year ago and i saw your video of bluetooth wifi chip replacement on a cuh 1100 series. I thought i had the same problem so i opened my ps4 and found that my my board and chip were different and my board had the newer bluetooth wifi chip. So I ordered a newer chip and replaced the built-in one as i thought my chip was damaged. Now the built-in chip was a revision 1.0 and the one that i replaced with is a revision 1.1. The problem was not fixed and now i believe that i had a nor flash corrupt issue in the first place. What should i do now mate?? Please help . .
You'll need to fix the firmware corruption within the firmware in order to get the new module working. Luckily I believe that since v4.0, the code is identical across all modules for the 1200 as previously mismatching modules would have caused a BLOD condition. I need to update the C0020001.bin patches for these tutorials which I'm hoping to get done over this next week or so. The existing videos (parts 1, 1 addendum, and 2) still apply as is. Part 3 will be updated for post-v4.0 firmwares - it's actually easier now to work out which patch you're going to need but give it a watch and it'll prepare you for what's needed.
Thanks a ton brother. Im eagerly waiting for it 😊
Dear Andrew, my teensy++ 2 chip has arrived . . can you kindly guide me how to fix my problem? like have you updated the C0020001.bin patches? You also told me in you comment that you'll prepare me for whats needed. Thats why asking.

Hi Andrew, I have quick question to you. Do you know from which wifi module is this package?
PS4-SAC-v4.0x-C0020001 Template.zip
Or maybe it's universal for all, but I don't think so. I have 1 piece of ps4 cuh-1216 on 4.07 fw with replaced before (by someone else) wireless module AW-NB218 r1.2 and unfortunatelly with no controller syncing. I've checked nor, but C0020001.bin is exactly the same like in package. Thank you in advance!
yes it's a universal patch for the SAC boards post 4.0x. The patch has changed for v4.70 and will need updating for machines on this version. Chances are the replacement module was a pull from another board and they're a common and regular point of failure on these boards so wouldn't rule out a further failure particularly if the dump is reporting good.
I'll try to replace wifi board for another one, but if I''ll check voltage with osciloscope it looks OK. Board is proparly powered
It's not necessarily good because it has power - if you change it I bet it works.

My file is not showing any difference with hxd (I extract dump) and sac-001 file are same now is hardware fail I think so any suggestions for me
+Sanjay Saini if the dumps are identical to the template then all you can do is replace the module itself. On SACs its the module 95% of the time.
Hi men, who have dump firmware 7.50 version for ps4?
Hi Andrew!
What about cuh-20xx template? Wi-Fi /bt module is different too.

Andrew Paul ok. Thanks!
Thank you Andrew, my ps4 sac-001 have 5.01 firmware, do you have a template ?
Hi,
Very possibly - what size is your C0020001.bin file?
Andrew Paul my client tell me that the ps4 have 5.01, where i see the correct firmware of ps4, the console have a problem of sync pad
How big is your extracted C0020001.bin file in bytes?
453.028 byte
how to know if its a software error or physical? mine has the problem were it connects in safemode but doesnt in OS the light bar glows yellow but wont connect
Outwardly you can't but you should always check firmware first. After all, there's no point giving the machine fairly major surgery and changing a module when it's not at fault.
@@AndrewPaul how to check if the firmware for Bluetooth/Wi-Fi chip on my PS4 Pro (CUH-7015) is good or not?
Andrew, I get power to my controllers through both the usb ports, CUH 1200 Series, ps4 controllers which were paired already work wirelessly through Bluetooth, but I’m not able to connect them through any USB cable, tried safe mode and it doesn’t send data to my controllers, what could be the issue ?
Hi, If the controllers don't communicate via USB in normal or Safe Mode in either port on a 1200 PS4 then the issue is a defective Southbridge IC, regardless of power being provided to the ports or not. This is because the USB host controller functionality is held within this chip and often fails on this particular model. Sometimes the ports are completely dead, other times they power but offer no comms. Hope this helps.
@@AndrewPaul How do I fix this then ?!
Which video from your channel would help ?!
Hi, I don't currently have a Southbridge swap video. It's one I plan to cover - I have a board which needs one - it's just a case of getting around to it.

Hi Sorry if you have covered this. I have the problem with the controller not connecting. If I am able to upgrade the firmware and finishes okay. Could the Flash Main IC still be currupt? If so are you able to supply a new chip that as already be flashed correctly?
Yes mate it remains corrupt.
You need to repair the firmware on the IC as it's per box and cannot be interchanged. I have a 3 part video tutorial series covering this repair:

Or perhaps would it be better to send the whole motherboard to you? Alan
I cleaned my ps4 out today which was thick of dust but it still sounds like an aiport. Do you have any idea what is wrong with it? It no longer overheats and tells me to turn it off but is still loud af
Probably the fan bearings. You can try and add a couple of drops of lubricating oil in there to see if that will quieten it, but failing that replace the fan module and you'll be good to go. I have a video on how to do this on the channel already if you need one. Cheers.
Andrew Paul could you direct me to the video bud
How much does this fix cost?
Hi everyone, Happy Holidays. Please, i really do need help regarding a bin template file I need in fixing a PS4 B/T corruption issue. I have a handful collection of C0020001.bin template files, am willing to share all i got, but i am in need of one with size 432029 bytes, i've search for it for many weeks with no luck, anyone by any chance have this file, please share, I would really appreciate it.
Hi Andrew good to see your working ps4. I have a CUH-1116 that doesnt sync the controller. I reballed the wifi/bt chip twice but no joy. In safe mode with usb cable connected it works. I tried to reinstall the system but encountered a SU-38.... error. Tried with latest 4.0 file that is more that 800MB but the same error. What could be the problem? Can you help me with an answer?
What's the full error code you're getting there?
Andrew Paul. SU-30645-8
From Safe Mode pick the option to restore defaults then reinstall system software. I think you've got firmware corruption here though so you'll need to fix that to get the controllers working again.
Andrew Paul i allready tried this with the 4.0 system reinitialize file from sony servers. Should i try with 3.55 file considering that this console has 3.11 installed ?
There's another option from the menu - not initialise, it's Restore Default Settings. I've had to use this several times before any OS upgrades would install on the system including via Safe Mode. You should then be able to reinitialise it OK.
hi friend, i've a problem with a ps4 slim CUH-2116B. i changed wifi/bluetooth module but the control won't sync. it's possible not corrupt?
It's possibly firmware corruption. Ideally you should check this first before replacing the module as now you're in a position where you won't know whether it's a module installation issue, a defective module, firmware corruption or a combination of the above.
Next step will be to check the firmware before doing anything else. If it checks out OK, drop the new module and check for any dry pads - if they all look like they flowed correctly and mated, you've likely a further faulty module.
i used other module but the problem is the same
Andrew, any idea how to fix same probkem on ps4 slim?
Hi,
The process would be the same but you'd need C0020001.bin patches for the SAD motherboard firmware. I do have some of these for v4.0+ - just need to upload them which I'll do with the process update video due shortly.
Hi I have this problem can I just replace it by anhoter one
No sadly not - your NOR contains per-console information which is specific to that one unit and as it's encrypted cannot be replicated. The best you'd end up with is a constant pulsing BLOD if you tried it.
Alguien q sepa cómo arreglar este error pero en español
Can the chip just be harvested from another board? I dont have the means to flash the firmware.
Sadly not - they're unique to each machine. Any attempt to do so would result in BLOD.
I followed this repair it worked on my PS4 only problem is that after some days the same problem came back I repeat the nor flashing process it's works for some days again it develops the same problem anyone know what am doing wrong?
I would replace your NOR chip with a donor - erase the new donor chip, flash your repaired .bin and install the replacement IC onto your board.
Hi Andrew, I now have a 1200 board which has the following symptoms:
No controller sync
Does not function in safe mode either (via usb).
I have dumped the firmware which seems okay (no big block of F's), though I cannot verify the firmware version to be able to compare to a template. Is there a method of checking the firmware once dumped?
+ian porter hi bud, if it's not working in safe mode then it'll be the Southbridge at fault on a 1200.
Andrew Paul thank you mate. If you remember I had the same thing on a slim but couldn't get hold of a chip. Same situation here with the 1200. I'll have to order some southbridge chips I think as seems to be common for that chip to go faulty. Do you have any cxd90036g you could sell me?
Okay, was a bit of a school boy error. Dodgy usb lead. Another lead works in safe mode and it's on firmware 4.5. Should the dumps you have in your 4.x archive be correct for 4.5? As they are different though no large block of F's.
+ian porter yes mate they should - corruption doesn't always show as FF, it can be as small as a single changed bit.
This is widly off, though, completely different. See the file here:

Hi Andrew
I am working on cuh-1216a device with no controller sync over Bluetooth. I have nacon revolution wired ps4 controller so i can get to the system using it and even i can play with it no problems. The device can also connect to the wifi internet. But when i go to Bluetooth devices i can see my dualshock 4 controller but without the green ball (that means it is not connected) so i press option bottun then forget device and connect my ds4 once more and no sync.
I had noticed also that the ps4 sometimes finds the nearby Bluetooth devices and sometimes not. When it finds a device and i try to pair with it it says connection timedout or pin not correct.
My question is :since i have connectivity ober wifi does that means my Bluetooth module is working fine? And the problem is by the nor corruption?
If so. Could you provide me the .bin files for fw 5.05
Thanks alot in advance
+Andrew paul
Hi,
You'd need to dump the flash initially and check it - if all seems OK then replace the module.
I can likely get you the relevant C0020001.bin template but I'd need to know the size of your original C0020001.bin file in bytes to ensure you get the right one.
Andrew Paul
Thank you very much for your fast answer.
Today I had just reflowed the module with hot air and it is working now.
Excellent news.
I find that reflowing the modules is a fairly short-term fix - might be best to get a replacement sourced just in case :-)
I want to let you know that I had fixed one ps4 that has no controller sync using the wired nacon revolution pro controller .belive it or not I had just forget all the registered DS4 in the settings under devices /blutooth .
devices then all my controllers connected like there is no problem
maybe that sounds stupid but works for me
bro thanks for this great tutorials...but can u help me abit.. my teensy2.0 ++ not detecting the 8 pin flash nor...its stuck at spi information than total black...no error nothing..its driver install perfectly as its showing in devise manager..thx in advance
Check your pin wiring configuration - are you using leads directly soldered to the pins / legs, or a socket?
im using directly wired to nor...which pin configation? also nor pin 7 to b6 or b5? anyway i tried both but same result..thx for reply
CUH-1000 / 1100 or 1200?
1200..also just to mention i use the teensy for ps3..but this time i flashed it with spy.hex
thanks buddy...although i tried to b6 and b5 none is working..stangely its working in ps3 perfectly
I have a problem of controls sync can I use WiFi module of ancient ps4
Hi,
Sadly not - the modules between older SAA/B and SAC boards have a different pin layout meaning they can't be interchanged. This is partly down to the older machines using an older Torus1 Marvell chipset whereas the newer consoles use a Torus2 chipset (supporting Wireless AC).
I have new modules for SAC-001 motherboards in stock. If you need one, drop me a message with your location to ytandrewpaul@outlook.com and I'll get a price to you including shipping. Cheers.
connect a usb storage device that contains an update file reinstallation for version 4.07 or later. Then in safe mode select 7 initialize ps4 (reinstall system software)
hi, one question this template working on sac-001 firmware dump ver 4.05? thanks
No but I do have some that are - I'll update the descriptions later this evening.
thank you very much Andrew Paul!!
No problem.
hi, did you update the dumps for sac001 firmware 4.xx ??
thanks for this great tutorial
hi how can you tell if the bluetooth /wifi module is faulty or if the flash is corrupted
You should always check the firmware first as it's quicker, easier and much kinder on the hardware. Afterall, there's no point in replacing a module requiring some fairly major surgery if the module itself isn't faulty. Sadly there's no outwards way to check - you just have to follow the procedure to arrive at the eventual solution.
How do you check the firmware? I’ve been getting this problem where my controller loses connection every 10-15sec... then Reconnects as I’m playing, mainly happens on FPS destiny. So I change the blue tooth antenna but it hasn’t helped still the same thing is happening. Any suggestion?
hy bro are you good?
you can send me file C0020001 for ps4 slim SAD-003 for repair my dump and thenx bro
Any chance to re-upload the C0020001 Templates? The Link is unfortunately dead :( Thanks
Link is re-uploaded. Enjoy.
@@AndrewPaul Tnx mate :)
@@AndrewPaul Link is already dead again. Any chance you can reupload them again ?
Thanks in advance.
In fact, the console has no operating system due to corrupted firmware, it does not accept to install OS, the WLAN / Bluetooth module is REV 1.1
What is the error it gives whilst updating? It should ask for a minimum firmware version when attempting to install - that's the current firmware that the console is on.
The following message is displayed --- the following version of the system software is available 4.55
I don't have any v4.55 dumps to hand as yet. What error code does the console give when the update fails?
SU 41283-8
It's more or less nailed on BT/WiFi corruption then mate by the looks so you're on the right lines for sure. I need to update the tutorials for v4.55 and update the firmware dumps - I've been saying this for a few weeks but all being well this week I'll actually get around to it.
I have a ps4 with error su-30631-3, i can fix with this method?
No - have you tried a different hard disk drive / USB stick and applying the full 800mb+ full system software installation file?
Andrew Paul. Yes, i had tried with 3 different HDD and 4 usb stick. I used 910mb full update.
It's a USB-based error. So likely either a defective port (have you tried both?), host controller or Southbridge.
Could you please show the soldering points of this Nor with teensy? thankful
Hi, Sure thing see the video here for the SAC NOR pinout for Teensy:
czcams.com/video/CExkuXIdxDQ/video.html
Andrew Paul thank you ! I love your videos, they help me a lot with repairs. I have a hard time understanding why I do not speak English. but I can see and deduce well what you do. congratulations
Thank you my friend :)
without wanting to abuse! Could you ask a question?
You have a question for me? Go ahead.
This tutorial is for consoles that turn on and off?
No - it's for controllers which don't connect.
Gracias [Thank you]
You're welcome! :-)
Hi Andrew! Can You post a new links for download templates. These are not actual.Thank You
Yes mate I've recently become aware they're no longer working. New links will be up shortly.
Thank You.
I'll be waiting impatiently
New links up now.
Hi Paul is this template for sac 001 firmware 4.50+ wifi module 1.1.Thanks for ripley
I did it with the previous template for wifi modules 1.1 and started the update 4.75 and the controller does not get to know it
what do you suggest
I think 4.73 update
Now that I am
updating the console with a 4.73 firm. Now it is not possible to go to a
lower firmware 4.55 if the update went through
If it's now on 4.73, split the dump and tell me what size your C0020001.bin file is. I may very well be able to supply the correct patches. The dumps are in need of update which I'll look to get done shortly.
hi andrew again. I taked out teensy ++ from old boxes and followed your tutorial here until erasing nor. I gives me this error and cannot pass further... imgur.com/oYa6Nap
What could be the problem mate ? Sorry for my english...
You've already received this answer on ps3hax, but maybe it's interesting for other viewers here as well...
"The behaviour you've described (write/erase returns with an error after a couple of minutes) is exactly what happens when you don't supply Vcc to the chip. Even without Vcc you will get correct chip information (manufacturer, type, size) and luckily for you, you also get correct dumps (at least most probably). But writing / erasing won't work.
So, double check your wiring (or seating of chip if you use a socket). Not visually, but with a multimeter. Measure Vcc at the chip. It must be 3.3V (+/- 0.1V). If Vcc isn't connected properly, you'll still get 2.9V at the chip (it receives power through the other i/o lines), so you need a precise multimeter."
This tutorial can solve blod problem ??
No - BLOD is likely down to an APU/RAM issue.
Andrew Paul mine ps4 same new it is clear
@@AndrewPaul Link is already dead again. Any chance you can reupload them again ?
hi my friend. you know how i can repair the error CE-34878-0 please? i change the hard drive using a new hard drive and appear the same error always. i think you are a genius in PS4. help me please.
If it's a new disk and it's healthy then I'd hazard a guess that it's probably either the PCI-E / SATA Controller chipset, or Southbridge. Never had the inclination to repair them when they still refuse to work after a disk swap so never proved the above but it's all that makes sense.
Andrew Paul you mean about the MB86C311B ic ? this part is the Sata Controller Chipset ? excuse me for my question.
On CUH-10xx / 11xx models the MB86C311B, yes.
Otherwise I'd guess it could be the Southbridge.
exactly the model is 12xx.
Sorry to hear that lol :-(
It's a lot of work for what is ultimately just a hunch...
How can I get the file PS4 C0020001 Templates
Check the description - word of warning though if you're on v4.0 firmware you may need to hang fire for a while until new patches are released as Sony has changed the BT firmware. I haven't tested v4.0 with the older dumps so cannot confirm whether the older patches will still work but if you want to give it a whirl and let me know how you get on then that would be appreciated.
I’m try it but still the same issue
If you've checked for corruption and haven't found any then it'll likely be a defective Bluetooth module.
Can i downgrade my ps4 in this method andrew?
No. Downgrades are a non-starter on PS4.
WHAT WAS THE LATEST VERSION BEFORE 4.50?
It was v4.07.
OK so you'll need to dump your existing v4.07 firmware from the NOR and patch that then flash it back as per the tutorials given on my channel. Good news is that on v4.xx firmware I believe the dump for all WiFi modules on SAC boards is identical regardless of which chipset is installed so the C0020001.bin file should be a 'one-size fits all' solution. I'll get the download link for the template listed below shortly (just uploading it).
Here you go:
s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=23006960361488470272
ok
Once you've repaired your firmware, reflashed the NOR and placed the chip back onto the PS4 motherboard try and upgrade the firmware again to v4.55. Hopefully all will go through smoothly.
oohh is teensy 2++ , not the teensy 2??
Teensy++ 2.0, correct.
TNK!!!!!
No problem
Hello, links off
New links up now.

Do you have any pictures of the damage you can upload to imgur.com and post the link to? Many thanks

i really appreciate for your help
OK I WILL HOW YOU SPOKE I WILL TALK TO YOU SOON, ONLY ONE THING, I'M MAKING NOR FLASH READING USING AN ARDUINO WITH A CHIPSET 90USB1286 OK
Should be fine.
not sure if you have already updated files, but here is my latest dump from SAC-001. Starting a public share folder. However, the dump currently included is unconfirmed. Shortly, I will locate other previous dumps Ive made records of and add to file.
drive.google.com/drive/folders/13obaLwBplmPBs9SjnznU6BlDikhhFi4G?usp=sharing
Paul, if you could, please check the fw5.01 C0020001 file currently uploaded and confirm if it matches. I have previous confirmed files, but they are completely different at almost every byte, so Im thinking they were pre v5.01. However, this file dump is from a non-working sync SAC-001 board...but has no unexpected 0/(FF) bytes in file so Im thinking the firmware is good and controller just need replaced.
Hi,
I'll hopefully be able to check it this week - don't currently have any v5.01 dumps for SAC. Firmware doesn't always corrupt with FF - it can be switched bits too so one to watch out for. Very good idea though and will be helpful to all so thank you for taking the time to share. :-)
File confirmed as good. it appears the file I compared against initially was pre-v5.01. Pulled a working 5.01 firmware console with v1.1 bluetooth controller and file compare is a match for C0020001.bin. To more clearly state... uploaded file is good for future use. Ill add more as I go.
