Crystal: Joe? (starts shaking me) Wake up.
(I stir awake and get to my knees)
Me: (groaning) Oh, my head. (I look around and find a girl in a striped bikini) Excuse me, but can you tell us where we are?
Girl: Here? It’s Long Beach in New York. Come to think of it, are you okay? I saw you wash up.
Crystal: We got caught up in a bad storm.
Me: We’ll manage by ourselves. (to myself) But I wonder what happened to that little blonde boy?
