ive downloaded his stems from the ultimatemetal forum and mixed it in my studio deep water recordings

Legion+marshall DSL power amp mode+ H&K 4x12 cab with a shure sm57 for guitars
Lextac and lecab + waves gtr 3 for clean effects
superior drummer +steve slate drums +addictive drums for drums
Vandal for bass
Ozone 5 and tracks 3 for mixing and mastering
all hosted in reaper 4.53 64bit

I've watched this at least 50 times. How/where did you learn to produce songs like this? looking at all your tracks showing in your DAW it seems very complicating with all the VST's.
+Final Beta hey thanks! i learned all by myself with almost 10 years of trial and error ahah also guitar and bass and keys i learned all by myself in my studio,just practice and experiement with new vst to learn what they do and use a reference pro mix that for you is perfect and try to achive that quality a step at a time,eventually with practice you will get better and better..its a never ending process..i started to study production by myself in 2006 and even now,something new pops up and i improve and refine after every mix

hey! thanks! i dont really remember ahah this video is veeery old now i use pretty much gain reduction with some other slate digital plugins and a short delay in time with the song

its my "trademark" basically is a volume fade out plus an automated high pass filter all into a long reverb
