Nice work dave glad its working for ya 👍 😊
Thank you its brilliant
I’m still debating whether to fit a retro, or just wait until I have chance to rebuild the pond
Trust me you won't regret fitting one and if you rebuild take it out 👍
should work great for you. i installed mine a few weeks back.
I saw your video mate before I installed mine it improved the pond massively 👍
Great to see it working Baldrick buddy but you could've made it a lot easier and with less pipe all you needed was an 1 inch half tank connector or bulkhead connector 🧁💯👍👍👍
If it works and no flex pipe then it's all good 👌
Good improvement setting mine up now but unsure of the best size of air pump to use ?
Thank you and mine didn't come with air so unsure about size of air pump
Hi where is your air supply from@@dtkoinew
sorry i didnt see this earlier ive just been and checked my air pump for you and it 3600 lph pump and it is a blagdon pump
Did the retro drain work mate
@leeoliver4063 yes it works wonders best thing I ever did
@@dtkoinew yeah i might need 2 just worried about pipe ive got 5m x 3m and poss when made bigger 1.4m deep
@leeoliver4063 honestly it's sit right on the bottom of the pond and with retros I believe size of pipe ia 40mm I've used nearly 3m of it and been in pond for ages and fish leave it alone and makes pump maintaince easier
Got one works great in mine ,but i didnt solvent weld the couplersthat are under water. This enables me to pull it out and clean in 3 parts water pressure keeps it together .Anyone else done this
I solvent welded the everything upto the one way valve and then solvent welded everything after the pump the reason I did that was incase I had to get to pump was easy to service and also easy to get to one way valve
