- Thousands of people living near India’s largest mountain of garbage in Mumbai depend on rummaging through its waste for their livelihood but suffer terrible health issues as a result. Despite government pledges to get rid of the landfill, it is still growing.

Here we have environment officers that patrol streets and fine people that litter ,it happen to me after I drop my receipt. Officer take identification and hefty fine €400
The truth can be really painful but there is a solution if every citizen segregated their waste in India. These documentaries need to be shown to every citizen to make them aware of the problem so that waste segregation can begin NOW

South of this area, there’s an oil refinery and a fertilizer plant. (And a nuclear research centre). They were built in the 60s. If the air smells like rotten eggs, there’s your reason why.
Spring is landing on my shoulder,i collect garbage from buckets,which nobody wants😅
