This is Sherry from April 12th, 24, it was that Seat Safty Switch, but I couldn't get the wires out, so I just took the whole thing out. It's like a Round plastic disk, and the inside of it had like a donut on a spring, I held it in( as if I were sitting on it, my tractor started right up, but when I put it in gear to move , the engine died ?? Uhmm? So I got some Zip ties and tighten them up to suck in that donut on a spring . And it's perfect now! Starts right up!! I am so Happy! !!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!
I like the way you take time to explain things , YOU are GREAT !!!!!!

I’ve had clutch safety switches go bad on tractors and usually Late 80’s early 90’s Fords I had to get creative growing up on the farm out in the hayfield miles from home and we didn’t have cell phones then but I would use wire or wrench to jump the starter from the solenoid and splice the safety switch together so I would use house wire copper and it usually worked

Unless you have a 1970 574 with a burned out gauge wires and you only got starter and key wired up lol I think that’s why I was thinking when I got a newer tractor I thought it was a Cadillac. I had to park my old Longs on a little hill and drift start them and they would run all day raking lower hp I think Korean tractors but paper got both for two baby bull calves in spring I think growing up and working on the farm should be a class offered at schools and vegetable gardens cause I remember planting 3-5000 tomatoes plants and lots of other produce and we would be able to sale in strip district in summer to all the restaurants and we were 100% organic I think we would do about everything and that was after working in the machine shop for 8 hours first I was taught the value of hard work and labor and I believe it’s the best lessons I learned in my child hood til teenager years and then I was tasked with harder jobs and little cousins or siblings you would train at least we had a kicker on our square bailer and we were able to buy 10 new heavy duty metal wagons

Hello! I have an L3430 Kubota tractor. It’s been sitting for over a year in my barn. I’ve tried starting it and it wouldn’t even turn over. Headlights and dash lights don’t turn on. I’ve checked all fuses and put in new battery and nothing. Only lights that turn on are the hazard lights. All wires seem to be good I don’t see anything terribly wrong with it. Barely has 100 hours on it. Please help me

Hi Again, this is Sherry, so I had that sensor problem, I zip tied that sensor, and operated my tractor just fine for two days, then today April 20th 2024, it would not start again, I tryed squeezing that sensor and it tryed to turn over, anyway make a long story short I called the service Dept at Pape Machine in Chehalis, Washington. DON said that the Safety Srnsor has NOTHING TO DO with the Tractor not Starting !!!!
So what do you think of that?? I said NO I think you are wrong !!, he said they start the tractors all of the time when they are just standing next to them!!! So now I am LOST AGAIN !! SO can I please ask you another question ?? At some time , ( my tractor is a 2016 3032E with 144 hours) I see, looking at the Battery, that someone had tryed to use a Screw Driver to get the Negative post off?? It has Gouges in the Post and on the Terminal !!! Could that per chance cause problems getting it started ??? Thank you so much !!

I've tried all of these things. Cycled the pto switch a hundred times. Pulled the seat switch, tried leaving the switch open, tried shorting it closed... Brake switch still sends screech signal when disengaged so seems fine, no switch on the hst that I can find and forward matches reverse. Neutral is in neutral. New battery. New starter relay. Pulled every fuse, cleaned off corrosion and reinserted. Jumped the starter, solenoid and starter both work just fine (but it won't start even then). Hour meter still turns on with the dash, every other thing seems to function (signals, lights, glow plugs, etc) but turn the key and no click, no start. Tried plugging an obd reader into the port under the ignition cover but my reader doesn't seem to work with the tractor. Ls xg3140. It happens to be in a difficult spot so bringing it in is not ideal
