Written by Jagger and Richards (though some say Gram Parsons had a hand in it as well), "Wild Horses" was first released by Parsons and the Flying Burrito Brothers. It was released a year later by the Stones on their "Sticky Fingers" album.

John , this may have been the 2nd album I ever brought, I was in the Air Force, just overseas, South Korea, brought at the PX, still 18 years young, I believe it had a zipper on the cover, Feb 1972, Thanks for the Memory
