People often dismiss Castiel but the truth is he is a vital part of the show. Without Castiel breaking free of Chuck's narrative, the boys would have never stopped the apocalypse, and eventually Sam and Dean would have never worked. The fact that he's been beaten time and time again and still gets up everytime and tries again, makes him stronger than even Dean. He was mistreated by everyone baring Jack. I think people do not appreciate the character or Misha's stella performance enough.
I feel the same way. I am super anti-destiel because Dean treats Cass like shit for the entire show, yet everyone wants them to be a couple??? Do I think we need more LGBTQ rep? Yes. But Dean is so, so abusive that I cannot get behind Destiel at all. Castiel deserved so much better than he ever got.
The writers really missed the opportunity to give Cas and Jack the kind of relationship that Sam and Dean have. Like I know Cas is Jack's biggest defender on the show anyway, but instead of having Cas trail after the brothers they could give him his own person he'd let the world end for.... Jack deserves that :'(
Omg i can't put my love for them into words. Sam was great with Jack too, but Cas was the one that NEVER gave up on Jack and always loved him. To me, no one eles can match the bond Jack has with Cas. Great edit :) ❤

I was so sad when watching this as Cass never got what he deserved and neither did Jack and Cass and Dean are arguing and ignoring each other and Jack died because of the person that Cass first believed in before he even met Dean or Sam and now all of them are going through so much crap and this just showed how much Cass cared for Jack as when they hugged when Dean was gonna kill Jack it showed how much Cass genuinely cared for him and that I believe that Jack was 100% Castiels son as they generally had an amazing bond and he was Jack's father figure before Dean and Sam I'm just crying when I think about Jack's death and that bond Cass had with him

I know this sounds weid but I think the reason Dean didn't geta long Jack was because of the fact he knew the devotion Cas held for him had started wavering and he would do anything to save Jack, going as far as leaving the Winchesters. Maybe that is why he was afraid because Cas cared about Jack more than him. But that's just me ranting out my frustration that they didnt even mention him at the end.
