People can mock Darwin Nunez all they want for missing too many chances. But he is an absolute nightmare for opposing defenses and an overall net positive by far for Liverpool. It’s going to keep getting harder and harder for people to mock him as his goal contribution figures continue to rise. He’s already at 8 goals and 10 assists a little over halfway through the season after 2 more assists tonight. He has definitely taken a huge step forward for Liverpool this year no matter how much trolls will continue to mock him.
He'll bury England in a World Cup Quarter Final or Semi-Final if these clowns continue ridiculing him. He is a wonderful player and does his all for the team. He reminds me of the Italian great Francesco Graziani-not overtly prolific goal-wise, either. Graziani won a World Cup medal-this guy will win loads, too.
@@christoskarameros3714he reminds me more of Emile Heskey
I think Nunez is only mocked because of the transfer fee and how close it is to how much City paid for Haaland (at least the initial fee and excluding salary, bonuses etc). If he was bought in a different window for 40 million I think people would have a different outlook on him (minus the usual banter).
Agree. He has missed a couple of sitters but has been very unlucky and made keepers pull off great saves.
Nunez is a beast!!
Yep. Haaland is an outlier. Nunez is just shy of where he should be. He will figure it out.
As much credit as Klopp gets, I still he’s underrated. Since day-1 after getting hired, he started pushing to the merge the academy and first team training bases. After the 5 subs rule was temporarily introduced during Covid, he started pushing hard to make it permanent (for which he was heavily criticized). Now it’s 2024 and Klopp is changing games with his additional subs and has been reaping the rewards of having more academy kids ready to contribute in small and big ways.
Special mention to Bradley. Stepped in and did a stellar job going up against Willian and Dercodova. Also was good going forward & should have gotten an assist
If Gomez tried to play on his left foot and mis-hit passes, they'd be slagging him for not doing the simple stuff, "why is he doing that, he's got no left foot. He should just do the simple thing, slow it down, play on his right!"
Just acknowledge the player limitation, the tactical compromise and move on!
Jota is very important to the LFC team !!!
Darwin Nunez 8 goals/10 assists, fantastic return so far from Darwin and his effect on almost every game so far is clearly evident.
Why cos you watching him try to score is like playing roulette?
It’s why it is so scary if it does come together. Despite being incredibly wasteful, he’s still contributing tons.
@@bocchi-chan1609 definitely IF
He’s really good as an impact sub will be a few more years til he’s good enough to be a starter
@@richardloach610Team Sport. Disruption creates opportunities.
10 assists for Darwin. Both footed player. One of the fastest in the prem. Game changer. Lazy pundits . Hes been very unlucky to have not scored more.
Nunez has been Liverpool best influence we have in the final third of opponent. Always a treat. I don't care about him not scoring as long as he keep causing confusion among defenders. 2 assist is not a fluke
Agreed… if its a one man game then yea… but there are 11 man on the pitch… all the runs and hardwork he does creates havoc and chances for others too!
It might be jota you know he changed the game vs arsenal completely was fantastic again today
Shut up
Credit to Nunez what a massive impact.
Klopp is turning darwin into the new firmino. Absolutely unbelievable
As usual Stevie being a pessimist. Conor Bradley did really well on the right side. Doesn’t have the flare of Trent going forward but solid defensively. The other thing is the subs were not what made the real difference. The difference was Jota going into midfield and getting past players that opened the game up. My surprised these pundits didnt really understand the importance of that positional switch.
Exactly bro jota was a key player in both goals.
He's a Man City fan. An absolute 🐍
Victor Meldew is critical of all, he seems to forget how pispot poor he was in his career
I think by now we can all agree Liverpool is not highly favoured to win any trophies by these pundits.
Bunch of delusional idiots, who clearly have nothing left in life to offer apart from being a bunch of jealous miserable energy draining parasites.
Keep on smashing it Liverpool , eventually they will all have to quit due to how embarrassed and humiliated they will get.
Ynwa!
😂😂😂😂😂
They are all bots 😂😂
And these pundits were those who said Arsenal would beat Liverpool in the FA Cup...all of them except Le Bouf.
They have all had their messages from the boss telling them who to cheer for 😂 absolute sad bastards
Feels like goalkeepers turn into Buffon and prime schemichael when coming up against Nunez
Hardly. Núñez misses the target half the time.
@@QuentinMajorhave you actually not seen any of the ridiculous saves that have been made to stop Nunez' on target shots?
@@amandev6 march/april when the run in comes he's misses will come back to cost liverpool
@@QuentinMajor Show us the stats, V Arsenal 8 shots 5 on target.
@@QuentinMajor ask yourself why Nunez got at the end of soooooo many big chances.
Go and see Hojlund played for Utd. He was waiting in the 6 yards box waiting to be fed 60min of every game
Jesus dived more than he had chances.
Rashford was so lazy.
Jackson is 10x worst than Nunez.
Nunez has a combined 18G/A so far
The whole of last season he had 19G/A
He'll definitely get better.
Half of the squad missing and they won the game, don't understand all the negativity talk.
I think that's really harsh on Gravenberch, sure he wasn't good today but when he's played other times this season he has been solid
Lolz bayern let him leave for a reason, he looks clumsy & lethargic on the ball
@@Daniel_ss4lolzz and since they're so smart they're going for this awesome, agile, young player called Eric Dier.
Agreed. Very harsh to say he hasn't done anything. He has got a couple of goals and assists, though most of them have come in the Europa. He's still very young. People don't judge all 21 year olds the same way or they don't realize Gravenberch is still 21.
I think he was okay yesterday so I won’t even agree with that statement.
@@Daniel_ss4what is ‘lolz’ Asian kid?
♥️♥️♥️Bradley was absolutely MAGNIFICENT ♥️♥️♥️
8 goals, 10 assists in 17 starts! I am OK with that.
And Connor Bradley is yet another diamond.
Stevie saying Gravenberch has done nothing is harsh. He started his first couple months very very brightly. he's tailed off badly though. partly due to game time. like elliott hes only been effective from the bench.
Generally, he has been struggling to keep the ball, but every game I watched him play, he has dangerous moments. He is going to improve.
He seems to have a lot of potential, but makes poor decisions and sometimes just tries to do too much. Their are moments though where you can tell why Klopp thinks he has a very high ceiling.
What happened to all that talk of Salah going to AFCON and Liverpool to struggle? 😅 Half of the squad are also missing and yet Liverpool keep rolling on.
Honestly it's insane
These guys never back down
Its a shame how even stevie hate on liverpool players so much, they doing great, they doing better than most.
Give them they credit.
I think he’s paid to talk negative about Liverpool. He’s a disgrace.
I NEVER LISTEN TO HIM..STUPID PUNDIT 😮
Stevie played in Liverpool’s golden age when they won multiple leagues and European cups. To him, unless they do the same, they’ll never be good enough.
I dont think it was hatred, more like he putting high standart for anyone who play for Liverpool.
An average performances = bad in his dictionary 🤣
He's playing reverse psychology to increase our levels when we win trophies 😂
Why all the keepers got to go into their prime against Nunez
😂😂😂 lol
They're training for goals to fly into their nets next season by Mr Uruguay.
It helps the keeper when he kicks the ball straight at them all the time.
The beauty of this Liverpool team is versatility, couched by Klopp. Every player can changed their position/role mid game and play a different role. The subs came in with a plan. With the constant position change of the players, coupled with tired opposition legs, it leads to confusion opening up opportunities for Liverpool.
Many said Liverpool are lucky to win so many comebacks. Obviously it's not part of the plan, but the team is drilled to take advantage of the second half
You should tell them a match is played till the end!
Shaka tries so hard to hate on Liverpool, and he falls flat on his face every single time. Love it & long may it continue! YNWA
Not only Shaka, Stevie An Ex Liverpool player..Both Crab pundits😅
what did they do to him? Probably still fuming about Stevie G long range shot in the FA Cup final lol
Right now there is probably not a player on liverpool that does not feel they can make a difference. They trot on a lot of players and they just keep going. Everybody has confidence. It is unbelievable the way that klopp has formed this dressing room. But yes today they did what needs to be done. But they will need more in Fullham.
I feel like Nunez would be much better if he converted to a winger. His work off the ball and on the ball to create chances is remarkable. Sure he misses chances but he creates a lot more. A very important player for Liverpool.
Bradley was good and can be considered to be a good injury back up for Trent for the rest of the season.
Nunez is a nightmare for defenders. Centrally, he makes the ball stick, out jumps defenders and runs the channel well Out wide he makes the defence drop, like what mane did
Pundits especially Nichol needed to realise it was Liverpool ( 11 players unavailable) vs 1st team Fulham ( very decent team ) great come back win - well done all the players ( even those not at their best ) . You win as a team and you lose as a team . Top of the league , Europa last 16 , FA cup 4th round and 1 foot in the cup final … give the team a break Nichol!!!!!!!!
I LOVE ESPN FC it’s the highlight of my day especially when it’s these 4 in the studio 😂😂
Nunez saved us again!! Darwin is a fantastic number 9
Very high quality audio! I definitely understood Nedum the whole time! Good stuff as always ESPNFC :)
10 assists that is for Darwin this season just needs to work on his finishing
More assist than Bruno but yet some United fans claim his the most creative player at In the prem. And Nunez also has more goals than Hojlund but United fans will claim he doesn’t get enough service Lool. United are just a finished club with average players, average manager, clueless board and a naive fan base full of excuses

How should he work on his finishing when the keeper is making saves?
@mr practice beating the keeper…. Keepers are there to make saves. Thats there job and its nunez job to beat the keeper 🤷♂️

Dude is wicked smart. You can tell through his play and quick thinking.
Jota was great
As said earlier , dont make Nichol review the Liverpool games. We dont need his over-epectations for the team and squad, kill the enjoyment of a good result EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Liverpool actually play well away from home aswell😊
It was at anfeild
You really missed the point
@georgemark8593 what was the point? Did one these pundits make a mistake or..?
@@ManoahShinash yeah they are assuming liverpool have been losing away from home
Antonee Robinson has been very impressive in games against Liverpool I've seen this season. Devastating pace, and has been a real handful attacking wise. Handled Salah in the PL game and Elliot today very well.
Joe Gomes has been class lately so Stevie just cant help criticising someone. What did Gomes do wrong exactly ? YNWA
May you have a fantastic day and many more to come❤🥰
I’m so over Stevie always down on LFC. He never hv anything positive to say about lfc,
Downplaying it is the smart move.
Look at utd ex players. Start of the season they all said they are great and title contenders 😂😂
Rio last week said utd will definitely get top 4 😂😂
Stevie love liverpool and just pionting oit weak points. Hes realistic
I heard someone compare Nunez to Drogba the other day and I think it is a good comparison. Drogba had only a couple of seasons at Chelsea where he scored 20+ goals and the rest he only got between 10 and 16 in all competitions but he created a lot for the team and occupied defenders that allowed space for other players to score. I don’t remember Drogba ever getting this level of criticism for not getting goals so it seems over the top the longer it goes on. Nunez is effective in a team that is doing really well, that is enough.
Gravenberch had a poor game and has in the last few games but Steve is getting on a bit, forgetting he has had some really good performances and scored and assisted. Still needs to do more to become a starter more often though
That last question from Alex, he did a great job of refusing to give dressing room signage potential
Grevnberg...from the beggining i was never conviced by this signing...
Stevie is forgetting Gravenburg's perfomance against Toulouse at Anfield
Robertson should be on the stage what an actor rolling round on the floor
Young Bradley is prolific and hard to beat. He is one for the future. Good win though we normally put ourselves in difficult situations.
I don't know what game Shaka thinks he was watching but I was watching Liverpool vs Fulham and Liverpool completely dominated the game from start to finish. First half Liverpool didn't create enough chances but Fulham's goal came completely against the run of play. Shaka saying Liverpool dominated the last 30 minutes is pathetic analysis. He probably only bothered watching the last 30 minutes! Liveprool should've scored mor ebut they didn't, it is what it is. The return tie won't be easy, Fulham are decent but Shaka trying to paint a picture of Fulhamhaving any sort of control over the game is both laughable and ignorant.
Hahahaha, He a Clown!!
before the game i said we need a 2 goal lead before going to craven cottage ideally, that would mean we can approach the second leg with a bit of ease and maybe even rest a couple of players. Now with a 1 goal lead we need to go there with 100% from every player cus one early goal and a bit of momentum from them and it could be curtains
gravenberch looked great his first few appearances, every touch was a good one and things were working. However, i do remember thinking straight away wow this guys risky, it’s a bit like thiago where he can play a simple pass but instead he’ll try to fit through a little gap with a cute touch and whilst it’s great when it comes off i remember thinking this will be annoying at times.

Lol idk how people can keep a straight face like that. Even I was smiling at what she said and I couldn't even see her face and I know surely that she was smiling.
liverpool missing 9 main players but klop liverpool side winning all the matches but most of the pundits look like jealous & hates Liverpool success
The Gang of Four,,,,,,the best
Don't worry it's not your device
I was about to say lol
Do not adjust your set
craig has the most treasured attribute of the british isles - he has a british wit
Liverpool had most of first team missing still won and that's what they have done all season win win win
Can someone make me understand why nunez didn't start the game? I feel like he is the spark in this liverpool team that's missing key players
Rotation, we’ve rotated everyone this season to try avoid injuries and too many minutes played per player and it’s helping us.
Klopp said he had cramps at the end of the last match.
Klopp said he would have but he suffered cramps in last game, so just protecting him a bit
I like him but Jota is key to that attack. Watch both of those goals they start from Jota
@@DonR-zb2cm Just play Nunez on the left, Jota through the middle, Diaz on the right. We have great depth that if we are ahead we can afford to the rest this front 3 whenever we can while Salah is gone.
Oooooh Dan in a sharp outfit Today
almost every comment is about nunez lol, obsessed. He will be a legend here. YNWA
Did Steve not see Bradley on the right come one Stevie 😅 Gravenberch has glimpses the Man City Game and in the Europa he was and is showing qualities
Sometimes based on the things they say I wonder if these guys even watch the games.
Super harsh on Gravee....relax Stevie
Decordova-Reid really should have squared the ball there. Terrible decision making, though not nearly as stupid as Raheem Sterling not passing for an easy tap-in, this was quite bad.
If I was a LFC fan I wouldn’t want Nichols speaking on behalf of my team. Brand new team with 9+ key injuries and it’s just all negativity. And this is a team that should be undefeated in the PL and are still top. WEIRD. Klopp underrated imo.
Can ESPN get someone else other than Nicol to analyse the Liverpool games because his constant complaints are now getting tiresome. It's every single game. Fair enough to say he wasn't satisfied about the game but the stuff about Joe Gomez was completely unnecessary.
Joe is a CB. A CB that sometimes does a decent job at right back. Sometimes on a good day it's a more than decent job but that's about it. And mostly it's from a defensive aspect and not attacking. So imagine how it looks like when he is then asked to play LB in the middle of the season. It won't be pretty. So there's no need to go on a rant about him not doing something he probably can't do.
Klopp seemed to invert him into midfield at the start of the 2nd half. Would have been nice to know from a football pundit perspective if this really was the case and if it was a way to hide the issues he was having at left back. I felt it left Liverpool open to those counter attacks we saw at the start. Instead we get this rant from Nicol which provided no insight. Any other team with as many senior players missing as Liverpool did isn't getting the is amount of criticism today.
Better let him be the next MU manager
Fair enough, but Stevie was a superb right back for Liverpool throughout the 80s and into the 90s and a very good goal scorer as well. Yes, he can be grumpy, but it's difficult for him to see someone playing fullback for Liverpool--even if he's filling in--who he thinks can improve. And it's not just that he's saying that Gomez had a difficult game, he's saying he didn't have to try to make left-footed crosses time and again and could have opened up and crossed with his stronger right.
@squizzums well as I said Joe as an attacking full back is decent at best. One reason why is because his crossing at RB is just about ok. But it's not something you want to see him do often. So I can only imagine that asking him to shift the ball to his right foot and then deliver a cross from a different angle at LB even more difficult for Joe. Again remember, he is a CB who can do a job at RB. It's a bit like when Akanji tries to play the inverted role like John Stones. There is a ceiling to these things.
But it's good you mentioned Stevie's past as a full back because I would have thought he would have been the perfect person to talk about young Bradley's performance with Trent out. What he liked, didn't like and what needs improvement. Instead he seemed to be more focused on looking for the negative elements of Joe at LB which we all know are there. Those limitations are also probably why Liverpool recalled Owen Beck as cover.
To be fair Nicole gets frustrated because he played as a fullback at a very high level for Liverpool, believe it or not he was elite.
@a-walpatches6460 I'm fully aware the Stevie is a legend and until Ruben Dias, had been the last defender to be named Footballer of the Year. I'm just saying that he should know that Gomez at full back struggles with the attacking element. And it will be worse at left back.
It’s been more than half a season and legend Stevie Nichol has not given one positive comment about Liverpool
Bradley had a good game
As long as he's improving + contributing with GAs' its ok for now for Nunez..
Nunez Nunez Nunez!
Ummmm where is the Madrid derby reaction???

Stevie showing his "old age" regarding what Gravenberch stats 😅
What tf is Stevie on about regarding Gravenberch, he wasn’t great today or in recent weeks but he looked great at the start of the season. To say he’s shown absolutely nothing since joining is dumb
Gomes was excellent
The problem with Darwin is probably the number on his Jersey. Maybe he is not really a striker by nature. If Liverpool brings a pure striker Nunes can be released from duties and focused to play as a winger.
The Mentality 🫢🫢
Thats very harsh from stevie about Gravenberch, sometimes these people make me wonder if they really do support liverpool.
I don’t really get the Gravenburch criticism- I thought he was good and carved out some chances - what’s with the hate Stevie?
There at it agian 🤣 this Bradley kid have a decent game and all of a sudden his this wonder kid right back
😭 we seen that one before
We have seen it before. You’re right. So many academy players from Liverpool have been very successful
And in the last 2 games against arsenal and fulham klopp has had 10 academy players in a 20 man squad!!!
And won both. What other top 6 club does that and does well??
One way of seeing this is that if Liverpool score even 1 goal in Craven Cottage, Fulham need to score at least 3 to win the tie. And the majority of time, Liverpool do score.
it's good now that liverpool can rest from the hectic period
Not me waiting for the super cup analysis😢

It's a shame Stevie has become dumb as a brick when talking about Liverpool
craig burley always complains he is not convinced by the liverpool team well done liverpool lets go😂
Also a lot of praise for a Fulham side that got dominated. The media are so f*cking annoying. Every time its against Liverpool or finding the positives from the opposition. They had a lucky goal and a few half chances, we dominated majority of the game and deserved the win.
i see people complaining about a ‘lucky own goal’ but its not like it came from nothing. It’s like how man city have got a lot of penalties over the years, if ur dominating the ball and are basically passing the ball around their box for 70 minutes of the 90 eventually there’s gonna be a handball or a deflection that in theory is lucky but it’s about getting in the right positions. Same thing with the robinson handball, if there was VAR it would’ve been a penalty and it came from us putting pressure on
Conner Bradley future England rb for sure 😊
He plays for Northern Ireland. Already has caps.
Everyone laughs at nunez chances missed, he’s a handful for defenders and easily one of the most unluckiest strikers I’ve seen, if luck turns his way he’ll be very, very hard to stop
I really don't hate the guy but I think Gravenberch Liverpool's worst signing since Naby keita, every time when he starts I know that Liverpool will concede goals, because he kills the rhythm and I don't know what Klopp has seen in him.
Ryan has some up & down, he's been bench on Bayern for almost whole last season, he can't show his skill, Klopp know he got a potential, just give him some time
I envisioned him to be a strong lad, who could drive at defences and tackle etc. I was disappointed to see that lad's fookin timid ans has no drive in him. Curtis and Harvey are miles better than Gravenberch.
He is just lazy
Stevie's assessment of Ryan Gravenberch is very harsh.
This guy is Liverpool bound come summer
