This is Golden, absolutely stunning. Until today, all I knew was Thangka, I came across the word 'Pauvha', when I begin reading 'Swayambhu Puran' and started wondering what that word meant. This definitely made me proud to be Newar. A great artist like Lok Chitrakar, proves that Newah people have contributed in every aspects of life. And numerous other nations like China India, Japan, Tibet learn from us but never recognized and gave credit to our Artists. A true artist, like him have not been recognized and even forgotten due to the modernization and materialistic mindset. We need to raise more awareness about this.

Bal baHu was one of those early legends who made all of asia's buddhism art and temples, influenced by Nepali art. This has to continue from Nepal

I have a question- is there a difference between Nepali Pauba Art and the Tibetan Thangka Art?

Paubha and thangka both use the same vajrayana Buddhist iconography which are the images used in visualization meditation. When Buddhism became popular in Tibet, Nepali artists were employed to paint monasteries and temples. Around the fifteenth century Tibetans created a different style from Nepali Paubha using more landscapes. Much later Nepali artists started fusing the styles together so that Paubha is now both used as a way to define the Nepali style of painting before influence of Tibetan styles and as a way to identify Nepali painters of vajrayana images.
