@@ertisamulalamahon6800 possibly I set my sights too high and never fulfilled them. I was obsessed with the limited Edward the 8th coins, the king that abdicated. I should have moved onto something like these coin hunts which have a pretty good chance of a dopamine hit.

The design on the Isle of Man coin is not a sand castle it's the Tower of Refuge, 2017 was the 1st year of that design.
Great hunt with stunning IOM coin. That's a nice album from Cambridgeshire coins but link isn't in description, maybe you could list it next £2 hunt.☺️

I posted on Caledonian Coins Discord that IOM £2 coin. My first thought was "why the heck is a sandcastle on a coin"? Lol. Pretty cool to find but I think some of our Mainland ones are better. 👍

You probably found this out while researching the coun, but the Isle of Man coin depicts the tower of refuge. Nice to hear you enjoy our coins though

I think you'll find the picture is the tower of refuge just off the beach, Douglas IOM when the tides low you can walk out to it.

Little interesting piece of info for as you've found a Isle of man £2coin. If you go onto Google earth and look at the Isle of man (with North up) go down to the South-West bit of the coast (roughly) there's a small island there, zoom in and cut into the ground is the Isle of man emblem (the three legs) its quite big!

13:02 The socalled permanent markers are not very permanent at all on things like metal and glass, so there won't be any damage done. Try writing on one and keep it in your own pocket for a week or so and see how long it lasts if at all.

Love, love, love IOM coins....have just recently bought a 1985 proof set which I will look at in a future video. Saying that the back log of videos I have too edit and new coins I have to film will mean the date of the IOM coin set will probably be around 2051 and will be in 16k halogram vision

In reference to which way the design sits, hold the queens head upright then spin the coin 180 degrees. You will have your design upright too.

I was going to get the 50p one but they want the 50ps that haven't gone into circulation so unless you buy them and take them out of there packing and devalue them you won't be able to fill it.

What album for your 50ps, 2 pounds, etc do you use. I recently got back from holiday in the UK and have 16 different 50p commemorative, 3 2 pound commemorative, and i did some partial date runs of 1p, 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, 1 pound, and 2 pound... what folders do you think I could use to store these properly (pvc free of course).
When you post your collection vid will it be " these are my Spanish coins...... FRENCH and these are my Belgian coins " lol jk :) . My collection is similar in that it seems heavily weighted with French coins too.
