Swamiji, those two examples are motivating and inspiring. Vijay Merchant himself may have done the puja or the prayer or blessed the bats himself since as you say, he has the highest batting average after Sir Don Bradman. Arthur Ashe example of how about 50 million players of tennis in school, how he was that one person who came out of ten thousand players in the professional league and how he was just one of the 32 who entered wimbeldon and won the grand slam , who never fretted over the fact that he contracted AIDS in a blood transfusion and never called himself unlucky. When you are believer in God and believer in destiny, believer in working hard and helping others, you always receive more than you aspire for and thus with God's blessings you derive more happiness and purpose in life than anglers in present life, fishing without their angling rods in the sea.

True happiness comes from within, external things are just distractions in life. Appreciate what you have, the grass is never greener on the other side, its the same grass but viewed from a distance, everything looks good from a distance until you get up close to it and see its imperfections.
