I love watching this team. The development of Joelinton and Miggy under Eddie Howe is unbelievable. And that full strech save by Pope was fantastic. A goalkeeper with shorter arms would have not reached it. Such a shame that the WC break is coming now. Before the start of the season I thought we would end up in 8th but more is now obviously possible. We have come a very long way in a very short time.

This is my 51st year of going to SJP and I think yesterday is one of the best displays I have ever seen in all of that time. Yes, there have been bigger games and more dramatic matches, but for sheer professionalism, pressing, tactics, discipline and teamwork I have rarely, if ever, seen the like. Got to remember that Premier League football is way more intense that it was even 5 or 6 years ago. And Chelsea are a hugely successful football club. Well done Eddie, the staff and all the squad.

Joe Willock man of the match. Almost all dangerous Newcastle attacks began or come from him. His calmness and passing have improved a lot. Shame for World Cup, he might be able to repeat that 7-consecutive goals he did 2 seasons ago.

I remember a game from our 92/93 Championship winning season, we played at St Andrews midweek. Won 3-2 ended up with Sheedy in goal, what a game. Our car broke down, and were immediately surrounded by Birmingham City fans and thought OH S@*T we're in trouble, but they gave us a push into the garage. Brilliant days!!

Bruno was poor today and has has been last few games..hopefully comes back revitalised. Willock is mint let's be real and it's good he's scoring again(what a fkn goal tho in this game) Almiron is doing well and waa involved in that goal and always makes runs and gives 100%
Botman and the defense are a wall and they are solid..honestly all the boys are doing solid. I'm gutted for Wood as he waa so close to getting a goal in this game..but he was active and tried
Ye Woods was close i kept faith in him when everyone was against him just the other month hope he comes good (more so than he has been) but think he might not play much when Isak is back and depending who we buy and where he might be out earlier than a lot of the rest of the team.
Some season though and in a way i just want time to stop here and now, if we kept this spirit and team and underdog over achieving thing it would be magic.
Definitely should be savouring this to remember when we get old lol regardless of all the future things to come soon we will get used to it , this feeling is better than any trophy
I thought Bruno is a utility player, Howe likes to move him from offensive to defensive role.
But when Bruno was injured, we will have a problem. We should have a new understudy to back up Bruno, we right now don't have a great ball-passer box-to-box midfielder like him.
