Launch Facility for Minuteman Missile Silo Delta 09 at Ellsworth Air Force Base

This video was filmed at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota. The missile silo is from the Cold War era and is currently deactivated. Fortunately, it is open to the public for touring after getting the required background check upon entering the base. These underground missile silos were spread throughout the heartland of America and manned 24 hours a day at the height of the nuclear arms race.
