I worry after my parents passed away, and my half brothers found excuses to avoid me, and have nothing to do with me, I've played this song a lot.. Career is the "god" of this world, yet Hashem says.. "I created all things, everything will work itself out to my glory and all you do, is shout praise, Todah offerings, and trust Me, I love you!"

8th day it's name after the eighth day of sukkot the holiest day of the year and it's also Shmuel's birthday

What 's the meaning of gam zu
"Gam zu l’tovah" is Hebrew for “"Even this is for good". It’s a phrase used when things aren’t going the way you want or expect them to be, but you know it’ll turn out okay in the end.
(I’m a Jewish convert in consideration and am still very much learning, so if any of this is wrong and somebody else would like to correct me in the comments feel free to.)

I love this, it's totally stuck in my head! So, I know what the full phrase means, but how does each word translate? What do gam and zu mean inidividually?
dozinglion It's short for the Hebrew phrase "gam zu l'tova" which means everything is for the best, or everything happens for the good. "gam zu" = this too, and "l'tova" = for the good (literally "the good"). So the literal translation is, please correct me if I'm wrong someone, "this too, the good."
