@@karenheartoriginal3783 Just talked to our daughter a few minutes ago. She is back in Shreveport getting ready for the soccer-season and about to finish her bachelor. Guess what temperatures they have when starting practice at 7.00 in the morning … we laught about exchanging some clouds for some heat, the middle would be best for both of us 🤷🏻♂️
I see pictures of pools that have popped out of the ground. What do you do to make sure that doesn't happen? I know it has something to do with the water table and hydro static valve but how do you get the valve out/undone when the pool is full?
So so sooooo pretty!! You and the lads did a job well done 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 And this was a level of filth porn I appreciate. The ending shot was quite the stunner. Bravo gentlemen 🧡🙌🏽
thepoolguy, I’m curious. Are the majority of pools that you work on tiled? In the US, the majority of inground pools are concrete/gunite with some sort of plaster finish. The cost of a tiled pool interior is crazy expensive!
I work for a pool maintenance company in the southern part of the UK. We tend to have a lot of liner pools around our service area. There are a decent amount of tiled pools, and atleast from my experience, concrete / gunite pools are the least common here as they don't look as nice. Baring in mind we usually get called out to service pools for older people who have had these pools for quite some time, and can no longer do the work themselves. They have generally had a lot of work done to the pools already, due to the amount of time they have owned the property that has the pool. I can think of a couple of concrete painted pools that we service, plus a gunite pool that we open / close. But the vast majority are liner pools or tiled pools. It costs a significant amount of money to own a pool in the UK. People that have money to burn on a pool are generally going to want it to look nice, which is why liners and tiled pools seem to be more common. Atleast that is how I see it.
I think it was a stuck rusted razor and they used acid to melt it right away lol idk. I thought the same thing though, wonder what they used the razor itself for 🧐🤔
This one has a drain, if you watch the end its the white area in the deep end of the pool. They likely didn't use it due to not wanting to run dried cement/ mortar thru the pool pump, organic matter is one thing cement and mortar I would assume would not be good to put thru the pumps.
If you were implying having a drain as in a bath tub plug hole, that would be prone to leakage over time and would cause more trouble than it was worth. However, the main issue with that idea is that it would lead to a large volume of water sitting on the outside of the pool shell when you tried to drain the pool. Think of having a chinese takeaway container full of water. If you poke a hole in that, the water is going to gradually seep out to the surrounding area. When the water rises up the side of the container, it will begin to float. The same idea can and will happen to a pool, causing a significant amount of problems. Not to mention the fact that once the water level outside the pool reaches the same level as is inside of the pool, you'd be waiting for days or even weeks for it to all drain away into the surrounding area. If you were implying the pool should have a standard pool drain to use the main pool pump to empty the pool via the customers filtration, yes that is a valid idea. However, as justin4n6 has stated, solid chunks like cement and mortar aren't great for pool pumps. Little bits can find their way through the pump basket and into the impeller, which will wear down the impeller fairly quickly. They could also find their way to the pump seal and tear it to shreds, causing a leak. However that is just for this particular pool. As a rule of thumb, our company wouldn't use a customers filtration to empty a pool for a number of reasons, mainly surrounding protecting the customers pump. Someone could forget to turn the pump off, or it could loose prime, then sit there and burn itself out if it's running for too long without a fresh feed of water. There are some other reasons, but those are the main ones. We prefer to use our own equipment, as we know it isn't going to cause a massive problem or an unexpected bill to the customer if our equipment breaks down. Plus we have spare equipment, whereas we don't carry spare brand new pool pumps.
The heated pools that I service seem to still be getting used when it's not raining. They definitely aren't seeing as much use as last year though. The unheated pools seem to basically be sitting dormant in hopes of nicer weather, however I don't forsee that happening any time soon.
The pool was probably left dormant for quite some time whilst waiting for the patio to be done. Plus, with all that dust it would have used up the chlorine relatively quickly.
Imagine coming home to this back garden 😍 things dreams are made of
Hey now, hey now
if Luisa was there...even better lololol 🤤
Those tiles look slippery AF for poolside
My cousin had tiles like that and the looks are deceiving. The have like a gritty texture and anti slip.
I was thinking the same thing. LOL
Can you imagine on a hot day though, f burning your feet on those
@@rich00pI can't remember the last warm never mind hot day in the UK! 😢
The illusion that they are slick is making my hands sweat… just waiting for those men to slip and fall 😮
What an absolutely gorgeous garden area and pool (now that you cleaned it beautifully). The flora and fauna were so enjoyable.
Really nice job. So satisfying when you see the finished results.
You're work is so satisfying to watch like all the pool can be grimme and you finish it looks great
Another fantastic job and such a beautiful pool/space.

My favorite part is the pool cleaning so satisfying
I love your work 👏🏼 What did you use to clean up the rust🤔
Just Fantastic And Beautiful!! How Long Is The Pool Season In The UK?? Thanks, I Love Your Channel.

Thx for helping this pool breathing again 😀doggo is also happy 😁
Very nice backyard
Great job all, a property of dreams 😍
Love the visitors❤ Another satisfying transfo! 🗣️Holla!
Pretty good
I would have no problem swimming in that
I bet there have been a few swinger parties in that pool.
Würde gerne mal wissen, was das reinigen mit allem drum und dran gekostet hat? Super Ergebnis auf jeden Fall 👍

You have a lot of tile pools that’s way. I very rarely see tile on the east coast of the US
Did you have a quick look at the icloud leaks before popping round?
Any one else have to Google who tf luisa zissman is 😂😂😂😂
I was thinking to Google that
What did you pour on the Stanley blade rust spot to make it vanish like that ?
Muriatic acid
👌🔥🔥
Haven't read comments so forgive if repeat, was leaving cover on during deck reno not right? If not what should have been done to protect the pool?
And that reveal is beautiful, great job!
nice
Wonder why a razor blade is on there rusted? Wonder what it was used for?
Enjoyed it but could have been longer for me
Is it not possible to save pool water and chemical clean it?
If all those pumps are going...why not vacuum pool to waste with the super pump to save shoveling/cleaning time?

Is this weather seriously in summer?!!!! We are getting cooked down here

why the jet wash a big wihrling?is it the tip?
It's a zero degree "turbo nozzle"
Don't use a turbo nozzle on tiles, you're killing that grout.
Anyone knows what that product is to clean the green off the blue tiles? The white foamy stuff?
When these pools are first bult, why are they not connected to a drainage system?
I would be terrified to walk on them tiles getting out that pool 😮 hell no.... I know some one has busted their ass good at least once on those tiles.
👏👍👌☺️
Why did you clean the cover on the water when you could have lifted it out all along?? 🤔
Probably a good reason why not but why do pools not have a drain in the bottom for emptying?
This one has a drain, if you watch the end its the white area in the deep end of the pool. They likely didn't use it due to not wanting to run dried cement/ mortar thru the pool pump, organic matter is one thing cement and mortar I would assume would not be good to put thru the pumps.
