You know what would be a good horror mod, it's a giant liminal space with a kinda old camera filter on and something that stalks you but doesn't attack, and it's like a mannequin
I might have something in the works that has that same vibe actually! (It does attack u tho lmao)

Not a lot of people can bring the feeling of liminal spaces to life. I did pride myself in being able to do it and Im glad that there are more like me who seem to get what makes a space truly liminal.
That first build of the bridge to nowhere in the snowy field. It feels random, why is it here. But its not just a bridge. Its a road. It has history. It was travelled once before but now it lays dormant, waiting. To die, to crumble or to be traversed again. Something once built it but that something is now gone.
The second one is something I also had come to mind a lot. It is similar in concept to the "Endless Maze" being a mirror of the real world cities and how the buildings tower above you as you walk in the streets. They are the walls. The Street your path. You have a start and a goal. Can you get there today? As for the big "cube"? A simple concept and yet so very easily seen by anyone who lives in a big city. A big tall house. Or even skyscraper if possible. The holes as windows to the inside. The long hallways mirroring the real life corridors in offices and the like. Or regular homes if you used to live in a smaller district with rows and rows of them. A grand patch of grass right before the entrance and windows to line the sides. To the eyes of a kid, it feels gigantic.
Ah yes. The endless halls and plains. Many doors to walk through, random corridors into the dark, all leading to the unknown. Many chains to bind you, many to let go of. Will you get where you want to get to? Can you even see what lies before you? Are you sure you havent lost your way? And how fitting that it should lead into the shorter story with just this very theme. Confusion. Not knowing where to go. Not knowing what has happened. Knowing only one thing, that you dont know where you are in this...

i actually have a lot of photos of old places I used to visit when I was younger, some of those places are like closed or just not used anymore
like old malls and stuff :3 , old Minecraft is a good example of an thing left in the past but still revisited :>

you should build set pieces for the dimension doors mod. these little floating "slices of the world" would be great for the kinds of rooms they use in their mod in the dimensional dungeons.

@@stereotypical01 you're welcome. Dimension doors is an amazing mod that if a version exists for a version of MC its an instant install by me. Do recommend even for playing casually.
1st one: nether fortress in overlord
2nd: weird farlands
3rd: old nether with chains from the roof, ps; the first versions of the nether used to be cube shaped

1:43 i will say that mobs being in the space makes it not liminal, but that only seems like a problem here, otherwise, this video is great

All the designs were awesome my G. However I had one complaint. I couldn’t see them. The shaders you use just block out most of the builds. Other than that I loved it
I think i made the fog a bit to close for the third one so yeah thats fair
