- In today's video, I'll be unboxing, and taking a look at the Cosmic MoYu Huameng YS3 M 3x3, a cube designed by Yusheng Du, who is the current 3x3 World Record Single holder! I got the cube UV Coated (aka with Magic Clothes, as MoYu calls it), and spoiler alert, I REALLY love the cube. But is it an instant main for me? Watch this video to find out!

Thanks Ram, I do like this one but like all good cubes it did need a breaking in period before it's real character emerged. The WRM 2021 is still my current main so looking forward to the V9. I am a little confused why they did away with the edge magnets? I am feeling bombarded with all the recent MoYu releases, too many choices with too much overlap. I think they need to streamline their range.
I know right!? Moyu’s recent releases have got me so confused as well 😅
I think the V9 will definitely be an upgrade from the 2021, but yeah I totally agree they need to streamline the range: maybe 1-2 versions of each cube, instead of like 4 😢
@@RamThakkar I custom modified my WRM 2021 by installing Maglev, a core magnetic kit and then additionally adding more 1mm magnets to the core. I loosened the axis distance and set the layer tension to minimum while setting the edge magnets to full. It is fast, extremely good at corner cutting and is perfectly stable, while alignment is spot on. I can't see the v9 being better. But if you send me a UV v9 I am happy to try out and give you my thoughts. Do you think MoYu will launch a new super flag ship above the WRM that will have all the current features of the top of the line v9 PLUS primary internals and edge magnets? It feels like it could happen.

Ive tried the wrm v9 and it is extremely fast and I don’t like it at all the ys3m and the rs3m ball core are very good cubes but out of the two I still prefer the rs3m ball core
Interesting haha, I like fast cubes ig so hopefully it works for me!
@@RamThakkar however it also is not stable at all if you get the standard and or the MagLev if you get the ball core it is still not really stable and it definitely is flexible for me. In terms of stability it has a little more than WRM 2020 and and definitely has less than WRM 2021 and the YS3M I think the YS3M would probably be my main if it was a little more blocky because it has the best feel out of any cube that I have tried. I heard in your WRM 2020 review that you did not like the cube because it was not stable enough. The WRM V9 is definitely better but it really feels like a cube that without core magnets would not be very good. I currently use a RS3M super ball-core and I don’t think I will switch to the WRM V9 ever. I am still getting used to the YS3M however and I may switch to it eventually.
