For cleaning a case, I let the case soak for a few minutes in a warm to hot sink full of water and Dawn dish soap. Then I will scrub the case with a sponge. That always cleans the case for me.

Also she’s probably 5-10 but since that’s when kids are the most toxic. For that particular case that you cleaned I would have put it in the dishwasher on the top rack away from any heating elements and washed on a low heat setting first and then see if it needed any further cleaning by hand, that case was very gross.

I just cleaned my phone and case the day before yesterday after watching you clean a different filthy iPhone and case. For the case I used Dial liquid soap and warm water, then dried it thoroughly with a towel and let it sit for about 15 minutes to finish air drying.
As for the age of the daughter IMO she’s probably around 9 or 10.
