Primero gracias, por interesarte por mi musica! :D Pero en fin tengo que decepcionarte, no soy nada arabe, sino medio alemán, medio español. ;) Pero me interesama mucho la historia española y sobretodo el periodo medieval con su influencia arabe, que, como dijiste es muy importante para la cultura española moderna. Pero, arabes si se inclinan por este tipo de musica "pagan"...mira bandas como Narjahanam o Al-Namrood. Buenisimas! Saludo

do u still know whose ancestors came from Andalus? I understood they were all assimilaited in northern-marocco, in Chechouen city, that region, but also other regions.

B. Mils really? I thought 1492 was the last year the Moors were banished/kicked out of Spain. I DO know that there are streets/locations in Tunisia with names like Andalus. so is that blue-white city. dont know the name now, also in maroco u have Chechouan city. but look at Moors: they prefered the dunya: and Allah punished them. thats how simple it is.
Moors were allowed to stay after the reconquista and Spain tolereted their presence for nearly two centuries... But, forced conversions obliged them to leave their home land to north africa...

Mils duh? so they were NOT allowed to stay as muslims? dude, it was Allah who punished them cause they were bad and weak muslims, same as Iraq and Syria now. there is nothing that can or will happen to muslims or other people without permission of Allah. but thats another discussion, when the moors were great in 800 900 1000. thats when Allah improved their position and wealth, when the moors started to loose faith and leaving islam: thats when Allah punished them. same as iraq syria now, why isnt Allah punishing Malaysia? or Saudi arabia? or Afghanistan: winning the war against us pigs!!! how about that!!!
