Great pattern, thanks so very much! I was looking for something to go with your great scarf as a gift and have not seen a pattern with the loopy yarn. I think your tutorials are outstanding and so helpful and with the detailed instructions on your website, you are my match made in heaven! Thank you I really think I can do this I’m not talented at all, did you use a whole skein on this hat, I plan to make the hat and matching scarf in the loopy yarn, it’s easy enough for me to do.

I used an entire 18yard skein for the scarf, but only about half or less for the hat. It is super easy :-)

Well you have to start with making a circle with the yarn, and then sort of continuing to loop the yarn around itself as a coil shape, which will end up with a circle. I hope that makes sense, let me know if it doesn't 😂
