Was at a wedding a few years ago, my wife's grandfather was getting married again, my wife's grandmother had passed away a few years before. They got to the part about "objections" and right at that moment, all the lights in the church cut off, then back on again after about a second.
At my friends wedding the tornado sirens went off at the "objections" part. We finished the ceremony while taking cover.
They divorced within a year. 😆

It's probably been about 30 years ago now, but a neighbor we had living down the street who was pretty poor won $100,000 with a scratch off card. He was able to live through retirement without so much worry then.
My neighbors house has been hit by lightning 3-4 times in the 20+ years I've been here. One strike exploded all the televisions in the house, just how unlucky
Remember the Winter Olympics in China? One of the skiers went on a practice run by herself on a small mountain and she had a go-cam on her helmet. As she was skiing at high speed down this mountain, singing away, she didn’t realise she was being chased by a bear 🐻 😮. The only reason it didn’t harm her was because of how fast she was going. It gave up the chase.

That motorcyclist doing that smooth flip onto the roof of that car was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. That was straight out of an action movie and action movies are so cool to watch because so much of that stuff never actually happens. This did! He even landed all cool. On his feet and knees bent ready for action. Simply amazing someone had a dash cam behind them.
The lottery luck discussion reminded me of an old preacher's joke. There was a guy with a struggling family and every night he prayed to God to let him win the lottery just one time. This went on and on and his prayers got more elaborate and desperate but nothing came of it. Then finally one night after he finishes the prayer he hears a booming voice say "I'm trying to help ya out Bob, but you need to at least buy a ticket."
I think I’ve heard this before or something very similar and I always think about it when I’m hoping to win the lotto since I buy a ticket probably once every couple years. 😂
Too funny! Sounds a bit familiar though. How many times have I thought of what I would do if I won the lottery? Too many to count. In my state of CA, the lottery started in 1984. Since then I have purchased probably 5 tickets. I keep telling myself, "you can't win unless you buy a ticket". Not sure why I don't, it's not like I can't afford a few bucks to play especially when it's a billion dollar jackpot! I guess I just don't like the odds in a state of almost 40 million people. Or, laziness. Not sure which it is, lol. Thanks for the laugh!

In a famous 2015 Indy car race, Justin Wilson was in a car 4 or 5 cars back from an accident where a heavy part of the car, a tire or some part, came off, flew through the air, and came down on his head. The guys calling the ra e saw his car just veer off the track and stop...he was dead! Great stuff...you guys...not that, ya blokes!

A bunch of scientists actually got paid money to prove that it's impossible to beat a pigeon in an honest shell game. 14:00 The stratosphere jump is amazing, it honestly helped with my fear of heights and got me to skydive a year later. I definitely recommend trying to force yourself to do it if you ever decide to go to vegas again

The videos that Daz was describing @ 9:25 where one person gets singled out and nailed are known colloquially as "F you in particular" videos. Also, the great white shark video @ 9:40 is a known fake. If you look for the longer video the fake is painfully apparent with shifting perspectives and depths in the video. That's probably why the person who compiled the original video excluded more than just the money shot of the fish. And the Stratosphere in Vegas Dave mentioned @ 14:25 the original architect of the building, pretty soon after construction, riddled with depression, took a leap off the top.
I don’t know about anyone else but I’d call the high jump lucky as hell. They could have just as easily said “ that’s the breaks” and said she was done!

They've never seen Kurt Busch's Championship winning tire fall off in Homestead in 2004. Dude was headed straight for the pit barrier and the force of the tire coming off pushed him just inside it. He was able to get serviced, get back out, and clinch the championship.

I wanted to recommend them previously but I think I noticed that the videos are always really lengthy. I think they tem to be 45 -60 minute long. It would be great though if shorter ones could be found. I agree those guys are hilarious.

@@JamiIsIt123 That's good to know, I spent a little time looking about a year ago and I only recall seeing the full shows, not shorter clips. But then again I didn't dive to deeply into the search. That's happened with a few others too, like Dave Chappelle. Most are his full length specials. If they are short clips often times they start in the middle of a joke or they are missing a punchline, etc. Some of the reactions I've watched don't even realize the punchline is cut off. So they don't even get the joke. I hope someday I start seeing some of the Impractical Jokers stuff on my favorite channels. Thanks for letting me know, I'm going to do a search so I can see some IJ's reactions now!! :)

The reason the long 3 point basketball shot was lucky wasnt because he made it lol that was ray allen and he shoots the lights out. The reason it was lucky is because it bounced and bounced and ran the clock down to a tenth of a second. If he made the shot nothing but net there would be enough time for the other team, LeBrons Cavs, to throw the ball full court and draw a foul to shoot free throws to the the game or possibly win the game cause LeBron has made tons of half court buzzer beaters for the win. Thats why that shot from ray allen was lucky. It ate allll the time off the clock.

My sister won $1 million dollars 14 years ago on a scratch card. She invested some of the money in bitcoin and bunch of other things, just last year she bought a house for $1.4 million, but she refuses to tell me how much money she really made of bitcoin and other investments or how much she has in the bank, but i know it has to be well over $8 million. I am just happy she paid for my pilots license and bought me a Cirrus Sr22 plane, a new car, house, and a bunch of other fun toys. They're both absolutely iconic. We've seen Connor change his tune a wee bit though more recently. Makes me wonder how much is change and how much was just him playing up that cocky persona before. It was clearly a mix of both. I haven't seen Mayweather turn it off though or change much. They've both gotten criticism, but I would say that Connor probably got more praise than criticism for his antics back in the day. Mayweather is definitely who he puts out there though.
