I met David at the Meet and Greet after his first London concert. He was wearing the same jacket as in this video and I had a hug with him. It was magic! 💛
Why has it taken me 7 years to watch this?! PGH is my hometown! I bought tickets for a concert out of town on this day, and I'm so bummed I missed this! This is hilarious! I did make it back for the David Duchovny concert the next day though!
I didn't watch the X Files in the 90s but I was/am a Supernatural fan. I've been watching X Files in lockdown (bad idea btw, to watch a show about conspiracies during a pandemic) and am astonished at how much of Supernatural is a straight up rip off of the X Files. All the storylines/ideas that I thought were so clever were basically lifted from the X Files. I still think Supernatural is a terrific show but not as daring and original as I used to. That said, there are a number of occasions where the way Supernatural did a particular storyline better. e.g. the Mystery Spot in Supernatural where Dean keeps dying and Sam has to relive it is SO much funnier than when it was done in the X Files. Its like the X Files was a first draft.
