And if you watched the runtime of the video, it’s aligned perfectly with the music, so every second is in time with the tempo of the music :)

As a musician myself, I have always thought that the concept of time, and the urgency of time passing, was difficult to portray musically without it sounding overly repetitive and predictable. The sound of a metronome was just a tool for accuracy, not a driving source of inspiration.
The first time I saw Interstellar in the theater and watched this sequence, when heard this track, it clicked with me instantly what Hans Zimmer had managed to accomplish, he captured perfectly time and the urgency of time passing in a given situation perfectly from a musical perspective. Mad props for being able to keep people on the edge of their seat, even if you closed your eyes and focused on just the music.
Smart man
While it is great, I’m pretty sure that he wasn’t aware of what the film would be about.
I wish more people saw this comment.

2:34 - The world is grey, a dark place. Your falling through the abyss of nothing, your memories prance around you as you glance at the best moments of your life, that greyness turns colourful, happy... Reality hits you like a bullet, you see all of them bad times, times you never wanted to remember... Tears pour out of your beady eyes like waterfalls. It feels as if your sinking down to the bottom of the ocean, everything is turning black, but... There is a light, a shimmer of hope... your swimming, the pressure is crushing your sense, your panicking, looking around, DYING INSIDE... That last shimmer of hope then, disappears...

Honestly that feeling of jumping to the unknown to descover the a new scientific theory is priceless, but when the existence of the humanity is on the edge. that's another level of excitement.
The theatrical version of this song is hands down my favorite song of all time. It encompasses every emotion, doubt, fear and hope I hold. But even while embracing the negative it motivates me to push as hard as I can can to the positive. Thank you Hans Zimmer.

Interstellar I love all music Hans Zimmer 👏🏻💖
When I was 15 I had 20 minutes before my parents got home from work and I should’ve done the dishes ages before hand. Already in a rush I turned the taps on in the kitchen on full to fill the sink faster. Unfortunately I have ADD and got distracted for a while and wandered back to my bedroom only to realise a while later I left the taps on full throttle.
The fire alarm started to go off because of the steam and the whole house was clouded. To reach the tap I walked bare foot in the scalding water, barely able to see I turned the taps off then reached into the sink to pull the plug, I scaled my hand in desperation but managed to pull it out and the water started to drain but the amount on the benches still flowed onto the floor. The water had started to flood out the kitchen to the living room. With only about 12 minutes left before my parents would come home i grabbed as many towels as I could and made a dam to stop the flood spreading and with the sink now empty made a system of ringing out the towels over the sink while the others continued to soak up water. SUCCESS the towel system was working far better than I thought and I frantically cleaned and dried everything with another 10 minutes just before my parents got home.
They saw the damp carpet at the entrance of the living room so I came clean, I didn’t allude to the extend of the flooding as I knew a lecture would follow and they just rolled their eyes.
I learned that day I can perform under great stress and pressure, however… I did not learn to stop flooding kitchens as I did it four more times in my parents house and still do it once in a while.
Last was flood 21/12/23 but no one knows my abilities and never will as I’ve become untouchable in cleaning up my overflowing sinks and I expect many more. I do not know when they will come but I’m ready.
