Great content and very relatable to my story, when I got laid-off in 2013 and started selling grilled pizzas on fridays at home. Never sold less than 150 pies per day.

I'm considering a pop up for neapolitan pizza here in AZ. This is inspiring.

In Washington state it says cheese is on the banned list for cottage food law. I want to sell pizza. How is this possible if cheese is banned?

I’m sure this guy is making excellent pizza, but there is absolutely no way that he was selling it out of his home legally.

There are ABSOLUTELY legal ways to run a kitchen out of your home. I know multiple bakers who have had licenses to operate from their home kitchen, including inspections.

@@bastardsuperstar2636 I'll concede that it *_might_* be possible to do it legally (although I've certainly never heard of it happening), but I'm sure that anybody who has gone through that process will tell you that it takes a good amount of time, and you have to be a pretty experienced baker to know all the ins and outs. No way in hell did this guy go from just starting out making pizza to making it professionally, LEGALLY, out of his home as fast as he did.

You are going to be hard pressed. To find a county or state health department that’ll allow you to sell anything made with meat or dairy out of your home kitchen. Cottage bakeries are allowed in most states. Selling pizza from your home is not legal anywhere that I know of. There’s plenty of people doing it on Instagram and they’re all secret about it for a reason. If they find out you’ll get a warning. If you continue to sell after you receive the warning you will be hit with a very large fine that will make it not worth doing
