Thanks Pete, nice relaxing ride. Interested to hear your tale about old cars and hills. Back in the 50’s my granddad had a Morris 8 and I remember (I was about 10) going up Streatley Hill in Berkshire …..IN REVERSE ‘cos it wouldn’t make it otherwise. Couldn’t do that now eh? “Good old days”? …NOT!
My brother had a Morris 8, we use to do the shows with the vintage cars, my dad had a Lanchester 11, and i used the Norton 16 H . It's the one i have a video of. with the wife on the back That was a different time and different world. Like you say Good old days

Hey Pete , I don't know if you would, but if you ever get time, could you show us some of the maintenance, repairs and upkeep on some of your fleet of classic bikes. I'm the same as you, I'm interested in anything mechanical. Electric vehicle's do nothing for me. Ta mate.
If ive chance i may have a go but iam not promising. Ive only got a small workshop, and as you know like most blokes it's full of crap, and with the bikes there's not a lot of room. Then it even more gear as in lighting, camera stand's and such. The thought of EV is terrible, think id devastated i if i was forced in to not using my old bikes.😁👍

It’s a shame that you are selling the Silver Hawk but whatever bike it was it would disappoint some viewers! Are you planning a final ride on the Silver Hawk or are you worried in case something happens before it goes to auction? If you don’t know it I recommend The Mighty Garage CZcams channel.
If it fail to go to the Auction i still have to pay the fee's. it's one of those bike's, were else would you sell it. If we get ever get some good dry weather and no salt, ill have one last ride. Yes i've watched some of The Mighty Garage it was good , but i tend not to watch a lot of repair vid's as i spend enough time doing it myself. Cheers Pete
