  • Previously We made it to Singapore alive.
When I arrived in Singapore I was actually quite tired because it was a 12 Hr flight from South Africa to Singapore and I didn't really sleep much the night before to try force myself to catch some ZZZZ's on the airplane. This plan backfired on me the moment a very interesting lady got on the plane and sat next to me. She had never traveled overseas and her first exciting journey was to be this tropical paradise called Thailand. Right then and there I was urged by my inner helper to give her some travel tips which I have learned over my time in the sky. Because we connected so well one conversion led to another but something inside me told me to glance at how far I was from my destination, I looked at the in-flight map and ETA was 4 Hrs, leaving me with 2 hrs to sleep before breakfast gets served which is only 2 hours from arrival. YIKES! All conversations ended at that moment.
A few weeks before leaving South Africa I reached out to a few people & businesses to see if they would be interested in being part of it, these you will see reveal themselves as this adventure unfolds, 2 of them being on this very episode. First, Wilson who also runs a CZcams Channel called Raw Epics which I follow & who just happens to follow me too. He also films riding videos in and around Asia as well as Australia & beyond. From watching his videos I was able to get a brief idea of some trails in Singapore. My second reach out was to a company called The Unsprung Bike Shop situated in Singapore, A very high end bike shop, which is kind of the thing in Singapore, everything there seemed high end. They also follow my channel and were kind & more than willing to help me out on this adventure with a rental bike @ no charge, which was amazing and really appreciated by myself. In return for their generosity I would feature them on the channel and video and help with awareness about available bike rentals in Singapore.
The rail system in Singapore is extremely fast, efficient, cheap and it gets you everywhere you need to be so if you do happen to be there, have a long layover and would like to stretch your legs and experience something unique, do what I did & grab a bike and hit the trails.
Now that the stage is set let's get the show on the road.

for eons we have been watching Americans, UK, and every other nation in between riding their crazy big trails and wonder how they would consider our local trails to be like, is certainly a very good "exchange" featured here
