- G'day ya cheeky dogs! Here is my Bluey BEDROOM breakdown of every easter egg and Australian reference in Bluey season 3 episode 1 and my review of Bedroom too. I really wonder if we will see a new heeler baby and if it might be a baby brother for bluey and bingo!

I am a big fan of bluey and with season 3 airing in Australia, I thought I would do a breakdown of every episode with a small review, some spoilers, and any bluey theories that might pop up. Bluey season 1 and 2 hit disney plus two months after airing in Australia so hopefully, all of season 3 will be out for everyone soon!

Chili trying not to cry could lead to 2 things.
1. She and Bandit did plan for a third baby but it lead to miscarriage (Bluey could of been 4-5 and remember how sad her mom got while bingo being 2-3 may not understand the situation and told latter on)
Or
2. Chili maybe heading to menopause and isn’t ready for that and is hoping she could have one more baby.( with the keeping her options open before that time comes)
Or she was reminiscing on the past on which bluey and bingo were babies, or the possibility that it could’ve been their first miscarriage’s planned crib before Bluey.
@@PeachTeaDragons while that could be the situation and blue being a rainbow baby. I like to think it was the latter ( due to the show episode with both girl being quite when the balloon popped thinking those 2 did see a side to Chili that they never want to see again)
that's what i thought until he said once you put something out its not yours and i thought chilli would be more upset
What if Chilli doesn't want more children/pups. Now i see two paths with this one. 1) Seeing Muffin and Socks grow up and the way they act sometimes, Chilli could be scared that if she has another pup, that pup will act like their cousins. But knowing the show, i doubt thats the reason. Or 2) Chilli is scared of having a miscarriage and having to explain death to a child. Especially at their ages. And looking at the episode of the balloon popping and the expressions both Bandit and Chilli have kinda scared Bluey and Bingo. Kids are a lot smarter than we adults give credit for and they learn and understand things for the first time. And Chilli seeing her daughter running away and just having a blank stare kinda clues in that she doesn't want to go through that again. And having to tell the girls about life and death may just break Chilli.
Whats menopause? Is it when you can't have kids anymore cus that's what I assume
I'd love to see a baby introduced into the show at some point. Not a jumping the shark moment of course, but as a way to allow Bingo to adjust to being the big sister and the story possibilities that could bring.
It would certainly be a whole new dynamic that would be great to explore

If there’s a third Heeler baby I think it might be a boy; it would tie into the episode ‘Daddy Putdown’ when Bluey play acted a baby shower and said that her guess was that the baby was a boy.

i think it would be really cool for the family to have a baby boy, as it would open up a lot of relatable topics for people which is something this show is great at, that being said i do hope that if they do have a baby brother, i think it would be cool for uncle rad and frisky could have their first child at the same sort of time as it would be nice to see them more in the show too

I feel like the Heelers having a new baby would provide really interesting episodes.
-An introduction episode when Chili and Bandit tell Bluey and Bingo that Chili is having a baby.
-Bluey and Bingo learning about change, when it comes to the baby, and that it can be a good thing.
-Bluey and Bingo learn how hard taking care of a baby is, but it’s rewarding in the end.
-Bluey and Bingo want to play with Bandit and Chili, but they are busy with the baby.
These would all make fantastic episodes!
And show that it’s okay to be upset about the changes that come with a baby and struggle with the newest family member.
One of my nieces struggled when my son was born. She had wanted a baby cousin or baby sibling but once he arrived the whole dynamic of the family shifted. She was the only grandchild, on my husband’s side before he arrived and had just gotten too big to sit on Nana’s lap and I had to have a Caesarean so my husband was too busy to spend as much time with her, her mom, would love to have more children but hasn’t found a guy yet that wants to be a step father, would figuratively drop her stuff on the floor when they came to visit and ask if she could hold him.
She changed her mind about getting a baby sibling after seeing how busy we all were and seeing how much attention he was taking; she was eight at the time.
it would be really cool to see an episode abt bingo feeling like shes being replaced and being reassured by her parents. its smth thats very common wirh little kids experiencing jealousy towards their new sibling.
Since none of my daughters have even reached bingos age I would LOVE to see a new little one so I can start dealing with them using the shows stunts lol
And it’ll make a great episode for kids who are going through with having a new sibling
I hope they do get a new baby heeler in the family at some point,I want to see bingo become a big sister that would be a big change for her,would she like having a new baby around? would she be jealous? would bluey comfort bingo when she doesn't know something? there's all sorts of ideas for them to do with bingo if there is a new baby,bluey already knows how to be a big sister so I know she would help bingo out much as possible
There’s definitely a lot of room to explore with the idea and something I think they could definitely add in in a later season
If they do have a new baby I have a baby boy because there are too much girls in the family
I think another Heeler kid would be a good way to maybe show more flashbacks to when Bandit and Chili were first starting their family, maybe when Bingo was going to be born, and possibly more hints that Chili did have a miscarriage and she is scared that she'll have another, but wants to go through with the pregnancy if she can. Just imagine it through Bluey and Bingo's eyes seeing their parents running amok preparing everything, going to the doctor more often, and then Bluey and Bingo excited to be getting a baby and helping their parents take care of them. Also in the episode, Chili places her hand close to her stomach, could be her thinking about when she was pregnant with her girls, possibly her miscarriage and that adds to why she's crying because this crib was at one point going to be used three times but was only used for two and she wants to try and have a big family. Sorry for rambling on but when I saw this screenshot for the video I just knew that I had to throw myself in the theory pool.
I would say maybe chili wants to keep the crib for memories of her 2 adorable heeler pups. Or as in the show episode, I would say the thought of losing bluey is hard for her, as it was her first baby and it's scary to think that. And maybe she wants to keep the crib in case bluey or bingo have pups of their own? 🤔

@@Ruby3P If Chilli did have a miscarriage, my sister could relate to her on a whole new level. After she miscarried her third baby, she was devastated. (You can find out more about it on her podcast, if you’re interested.)
What I've noticed in the bluey universe is that they try to have scenarios that kids can relate to for example like when bingo went to the hospital , there's definitely a possibility that there will be a third healer child in the future so that kids can relate to that whole experience through Bluey
As much as I want Chili to have a baby boy, Im wondering if Frisky is gonna have a baby instead. We could then get an episode about Bandit and Stripe reassuring a nervous Rad, and maybe some flashbacks of each of them when they became fathers for the first time.

In regards the the appearing room and magic house, I'm pretty sure I remember reading somewhere that we perceive the house how bluey and bingo do so maybe it's not there because the girls just never really noticed it before.

What would his name be? I think if he was a blue heeler it could be Jay, like a bluejay or Robin if he was a red heeler.

I always thought that if there is another baby it'll be a boy. I did make a possible son for Bandit and Chili called Comet, a space loving little fella who's also a red heeler like his mum. Would be a good way to introduce the idea of a new baby to any of the kids watching too who might be becoming big brothers/sisters.

smiling burger IMMEDIATELY jumped out to me as a Burgie reference, if anyone on their team is a fan of the Game Grumps, which is a youtube video game show where Arin and Danny hang out playing games, and a recurring meme or joke is asking their editor to make random stuff appear on screen, which included a floating burger that Arin wound up naming. Arin and Danny also get featured in a lot of fan animations and they encourage and cultivate their fans, several of Danny's songs have animated music videos that have an awful lot of love put into them, most famously by (i think) Knights of the Light Table? i might have their name wrong but if you look up Starlight Brigade's music video or Magnum Bullets, its the studio behind those.
so I wouldnt' be surprised if folks working on Bluey are fans of Game Grumps and Dan's band Ninja S*x Party (or NSP)!
At first I thought maybe Bluey had jumped the gun in taking the new room for herself, since the old one is clearly bigger, has the extra little nook under the window, and opens up onto the second floor deck, but if it has its own AC unit…that changes things.
Also, do Aussie homes normally not have AC, or is it just older ones?
the older ones dont usually have them, they have to be installed once someone moves in unless it gets renovated before someone moves in
Haha I totally would have taken the room for the AC 😆 as the person below said it’s not so common in old queenslander houses, and you can usually get away with just having fans in the summer…although it is getting hotter each year so I know a lot of my friends have started to buy ac units to install

I would like to see another baby. It would be interesting seeing Bingo adjusting to not being the youngest and learning about being a big sister. For the baby's name I think they would stick with the b theme or have it have a c name like chili

Ok so hypothetically they have another kiddo in the comeing years of the show.
What I’m trying to figure out is how they would tackle the topic of bringing another heeled into the family.
I hope they go the route of around let’s say season 4 they say that chili is pregnant. And then they sort of show how time passes over let’s say the season and near the end this hypothetical baby heeler is born
It could also work where they do it at the middle of the season. I’m saying this because I don’t think one episode would be enough to tackle such a large topic.
I definitely believe that this is going to happen and there will definitely be a few episodes where bluey and bingo learn lessons around having a pregnant parent. I think that since bluey was so young when bingo was born, she probably doesn’t remember bingo as a baby or when chili was pregnant with her. This plot point would absolutely allow these lessons to be covered in more detail!!
I feel like there might be an attention thing if they do have another sibling. Because bandit and chili are always playing with them. So there might be an episode saying that their parents never play with them anymore and there’s some life lesson about babies in mixed in.
I could see an episode where chilli goes into labor and the girls get dropped off at stripe’s or rad’s place and said uncle and aunt pair would explain what’s happening to their parents and how it’s a difficult thing to do but it’s worth it

Yeah. Bluey should really address the issue of body shaming. This will be one of the biggest factors to stop it from becoming the Australian version of Peppa pig. In Peppa, there is a running gag where people comment on Daddy Pig’s weight. Bluey can go the opposite direction about how much this behavior can hurt others and to think before you speak. A wise man once said “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.”

@@aussiegirlmargie I think there's a good chance they will since there is a difference with how it's done with Peppa Pig and here in Bluey. In Peppa Pig, Daddy Pig barely reacts to the jokes. He doesn't fight back and at most maybe he frowns, but he usually just laughs it off, but not Bandit. Bandit is shown to be annoyed with Bluey calling him "Big Daddy" and in the yard sale episode, Bandit is shown to be really upset by the fat comment. It's way more emotion than we usually get for the 'fat shaming dad' gag we see so option. So, I'm taking it as a sign they are planning to do something with it, which I am really hoping they are.
I mean she's not really shaming she is a 6 year old dog that calls her dad Big fella, big as in adult.
It would be cool if the Heelers had a new baby. It would give Bingo an opportunity to be a big sister and maybe they could have an episode where she might be worried she wouldn't be a good big sister or something and Bluey could reassure her she would be find with maybe a flashback episode of when Bingo was a baby and Bluey was a big sister for the first time
This was a really nice episode. I'm really looking forward to seeing it again on Disney+ in the states next week. I do hope in the future that the heelers eventually have another pup, so they can have an episode about adjusting to a new schedule with a new baby sibling, or do a flashback episode of when Bluey was little when Bingo was born (like what they did with Baby Race), it would be cute.
Possible storyline if they did have another baby, Bingo could find it hard not being the youngest and feels forgotten. Bluesy could share what it was like for her when Bingo was born.

a boy would be awesome because bluey and bingo are very much theirs so in the future a femenine boy would be great for the social issues that this series deals with can you imagine him as a grandmother or as bingo's wife in some game?

I'd be very happy if they had a son named Chico, Cosmo or something like that. Because, you know, two girls are named "B" after dad, and the son would be "C" after mom. A third child would break the typical 2+2 nicely.

The third child theory isn't that bad of an idea. Not only in Bedroom, where you can see Chilli doesn't feel ready to give up on having more children, but in the episode Perfect (censored internationally) Bandit says that Chilli "wants to keep her options open" likely referring to how she can't decide.
maybe brandy will adopt a baby and chilly will give the cot to brandy
while yes, we do say crib, we do have a type of bed called a cot that's typically used for camping or as an extra bed when someone is sleeping over.

This will be a hot take, but I don’t want Bluey and Bingo to have a little sibling. That would be… boring, and ya know, introducing a new character usually means that the creators are running out of ideas, and that the show will get milked (*looks madly at FOP*). Besides, if the new sibling was introduced, then they would have to redo the intro, which would likely suck. Also, Bandit was literally thinking of being neutered, so I don’t think it’s likely that him and Chilli will have a third kid...
I really dont think they are going to add to the family directly. I think Chili may carry a baby for Brandy. I get the sense that both Chili & Bandit are older parents as it is. Bluey being set in present day and Bandit being a kid of 10-12 in the 80s would put him well into his 40s. Probably 45+ so Bingo would have been born when they were in their late 30s
I feel like the AC unit may be because it would be easier to control the temp of the room? Especially while a baby is sleeping

I'm sure they'd do it well and he'd be really cute and all that but Bluey's honestly the first cartoon I can really recall, like, ever that's not specifically targeted towards girls where the main family doesn't need a boy to be complete, and I kinda respect it for that? I dunno.
Same, honestly. I usually don’t like the double buddy format, but this is a good show that uses it really well. I’m not saying it will collapse the entire show, but I would probably watch it less, but still love the show, just not the later baby episodes as well as the OG ones.
I feel like a new baby would definitely either show a difference is guy/girl and how parents can react to both, and it can bring up how middle children feel since Bingo can feel left out and different

Honestly, as much as I love the thought of Chili having another baby, I kinda want to see what would happen if she sat down and discussed it. We've seen how Bandit is with the girls but I could see him wanting a boy to play with and maybe bond with over sports or archeology. I also think if they discussed it, it might give the option for one of the girls or both to not want another sibling. I can see a possible turn of events where Bingo, being sort of self conscious, takes the idea of another baby, maybe a boy, being that the kids aren't good enough or aren't special enough for their parents. Maybe this could portray the idea of a child being anxious or jealous of a new sibling. Whether or not they decide to have another child, I also really want to see Uncle Rad and Frisky have a child at some point. They both have said they want kids and in Christmas swim when Chili first announces who is calling, she says "Uncle Rad and "Aunt" Frisky" showing they might/hopefully are in it for the long run together. Either way I think there are so many possibilities in this show!

The room was blueys then bingos room when they were babies and there is air conditioner because it is a baby’s room (this is what I have been informed from my research no judging)

I don't *think* we'll see another Heeler kid, but I do think like, it'd be an interesting move to add a new baby in and show the girls trying to adjust to having a new sibling. Bluey was only two when Bingo was born so she probably doesn't remember much of that time. Bingo does already like... kind of have middle child syndrome to a point, where she's often overlooked. Which could be foreshadowing.
The smiling burger, I think it's a reference to Game Grumps' Burgey meme. It's probably not that but a cute concept from Game Grumps.
My theory goes that chilli wants to have another child because before Bluey chilli had a miscarriage and after having Bluey and Bingo she doesn’t want to have another miscarriage

I have a theory! If they do have another baby and a boy. Bandit would favorite him and raise him like a player two. Chilis favorite kid would be like bingo. As you can see in mini bluey comparing bluey to bingo. With would leave bluey into jealousy and to be “Perfect”That’s all ☺️
