Ppl don’t understand anything about boxing lol Jake usually fights at 185-195, the only reason he’s fighting at 200+ right now is because he gained weight for the Mike Tyson fight. Mike is a natural heavyweight and he had to gain weight to match him… he didn’t want to go down to much for Mike Perry because the Tyson fight still might happen later this year. Jake will fight under 200 again in the future I’m sure.
No, Jake wants to be cruiserweight champion. The limit for cruiser is 200 lbs. He knows he can cut to 200 and balloon back up on fight night for an advantage, that's how it goes. He will not be going below 200 lbs LMAO.

It'd be a close fight, I'd probably favor KSI slightly at this point, but Jake was sick going into this fight, so we didn't get to see his full potential, so I can't glean enough from it to make a confident prediction.

tbh tho the fight wont happen anytime soon, Jake is cutting to 200 then shooting back up to 220 minimum meanwhile KSI fights at 185 or whatever he fights at, even if he fights at 190 there will still be a massive weight difference. Plus with Jake operating in a complete different market to KSI, he has more pull power to a degree and I feel him and his team are not gonna budge at all with the KSI negotiations.
That fight is gone past it's expiry date imo, the hype and buzz for it has reached an all time low and both guys sort of have gone different ways and it's separate even further. Like after Jake's loss to Tommy, the KSI fight would have been perfect but Jake decided to fight Diaz and KSI decided to fight Fury.
I feel like after the Diaz fight and when KSI fought Tommy, it just killed the hype for the Jake fight, it was the wrong move imo.
I honestly don't think KSI vs Jake happens unless Jake runs out of options, so what I mean is the Tyson fight does not happen in November and there is no more sort of buzz type opponents for Jake but they will only open talks with KSI again if KSI does fight Amir Khan and either wins convincingly or it's super close as it will create buzz around KSI's name again

Jake has shown good cardio against Silva where his gas tank held up until R8 and even in Nate fight he threw like 500 punches.

Jake has been regressing since the Nate Diaz fight. Yeah, his jab is more authoritative, but he still looks VERY uncoordinated when throwing combinations, he constantly drops his hands, and there are many times in his fights where he's just walking backwards. On top of that, Mike Perry was worse than Andre August and Ryan Bourland. The fact that it took Jake that long to set up the KO shows that the KSI fight is still very much competitive. Both Jake and KSI lack defense and have fallen into the trap of becoming better athletically but not better technically.
Jake has improved a lot since leaving bj flores. I had ksi back then but now jake wins it easily. I don't think he'll get anywhere in the pro scene though. He does well when he has all the advantages. That won't be the case as soon as he comes up against someone who's the same size and can actually box. He might end up sticking to the gimmicks for the rest of his career
