Looks challenging
It was a little challenging in spots, especially the northern section.
Thanks for posting this one, Tim. My folks moved to Prescott from Kentucky in 1976. I still have relatives in Prescott Valley and Chino Valley. I’ve hiked around Thumb Butte a couple of times, but never this trail. I usually visit there in October or November, so this might be a good hike to check out this fall.

Nice trail. You should try Castlewood Canyon State Park in Colorado. Similar to this with a creek down in the gulch. I bet you would like it.
PS: you will also see the ruins of the Castlewood Canyon Dam, which was built in 1889 and collapsed in August 1933 flooding the city of Denver downstream.

Tim, Nice video as always. Question: There are 4 trails listed for Watson Lake, do you know the specific name of the trail or how long it is?
It’s 4.8 miles around. I think it’s Watson Lake Loop but it looks like it might actually be a couple of smaller sections that make up the loop. It’s pretty well marked when you get there.
I believe it's Watson lake and Flume Trail on alltrails
