Could you guys give me any tips and general areas to narrow down my search on all of that water around that area of the Grand River?

I’d recommend just picking a bayou and starting there. Every bayou will have fish and that way you can start in one bayou and try to start putting together a pattern to expand on

I don’t understand the appeal of bass. However, I respect the passion behind any type of fishing.

@@reelobsession more Muskegon lake, but yeah I do fish the grand River too. I just caught a 21 inch small mouth bass when I was home on leave earlier this month. Caught it on the south side of Muskegon Lake east of where Ruddiman’s Creek dumps into Muskegon Lake. A long the rocky bank. Caught it on a Panther Martin and I was using a 5.6ft light Mitchell rod and reel combo lol. Insane fight.

Really! College bass tournament. Maybe you should school yourself to be a betterment to society. I wonder how many fishermen that were out there that actually worked a full day and paid their share of taxes are trying to enjoy that day while you were you were tearing things up. Leave fishing out of college sports. Is hunting next?
