- Sometime back I was approached by long time volunteer Phil Hehn who requested the possibility of having me help him with certain video projects to help benefit the museum. He told me to send him all of my raw footage to that I took at IRM since 2017. Well before I could start back in October my old 2011 iMac finally called it quits after serving me well for over 7 years. So I decided to get a new computer and this time I made sure to get a new iMac 2020 desktop that had the software “Final Cut Pro” on it. With this software I can edit my videos more professionally than I could with my previous software. Well going back to Phil Hehn I decide to make a video for him showing all of my 2020 video footage (with the exception of the footage seen in the intro) all in order in 1 video as a thank you for getting me on board with this project and also to show off my new editing software. So sit back and enjoy the video.
This is unbelievable to even see these Engines and rolling stock survivor's. Mind blowing!
What's the future for cb&q 3007 and union Pacific 428?
Should be retitled "Steam and More".
What steam engines is the IRM planning to awaken or at least cosmetically restore? A lot of these could be sent to Steamtown or age of steam and be awoken in time again like B&LM 2-10-4 or the UP 5511 2-10-2
1:03:02 Is that a New Haven steam locomotive I recall seeing that special power truck on the tender being a New Haven locomotive
How great would it be to restore this former New Haven steam locomotive I recalled these engines being used on a very steepening grade on the New Haven railroad Which is why they had that booster powered truck on the tender
That is LS&I 35. FYI :)
@@nicholasmedovich8691 that is correct
Okay where the heck did they get a dmir car????? Sp 1518 was pulling it
How many steam locomotives does the museum have?
About 27
How come Frisco 1630 didn't run this year?
It's to coal hungry with the lack of income it was to costly to run this year it should run next year tho. I am a vulennter in the department and we have been doing upgrades to her
@@Wawa111_Mainline Wow that's great to know I look forward to seeing her come back next year 2020
@@TexasRailfan21-RailfanRyan hopefully she will have her stocker working for the first time in the museum
@@Wawa111_Mainline I was hoping a new tender plus frame for added water capacity since she uses a ton of water on her trips out of the museum. Again just a thought of mine.
@@nicholasmedovich8691 we have 2 axusilerary water tenders the old milk car and a tender that I can't remember what road it was from
