No doubt about it; technicality behind guitar theatrics has increased so much over the recent decades. Hell, even Disturbed's own approach has become so much more complex. I remember when some douche was bitching about how their riffs were simple with no solos back when Sickness was released. And now Don's putting out some real challenging material.
This is why disturbed is so good. They play to the needs of the song and they write thoughtful percussive parts.

Technically is awesome, is fast, he makes a really good sweep picking, tapping, he mix it, down and alternate pocking, finger bends, it's a machine

I would think that someone who plays heavy music like Dan would have an evil looking metal guitar. But his signature schecter is just gorgeous!
Dan is one of the best of modern metal along with jim root and synyster gates.
btw am I the only one who can hear an adam jones feel in the warrior intro?

This confirms what I figured out when I finally put up together a solo that didn't sound bland and vanilla, a solo comes within the moment and has to be seized to become song material

@ThieleM No, not bad at all. My Sam Ash has a couple of them. One of them is trans black with a Floyd and the other is like the one he has here. Both play like butter under your fingers and sound badass.

best schecter of all time c1 classic, sounds like the guitar god would play and it was a neck thru, all schecter sounds good except the solo 6, doesnt sound like a schecter to me

I paid him...thought I was driving home in my fixed vehicle...and the check engine light comes on....i try to call Dan Donegan..at Motor Services back ...after just paying him $3600 to fix my car...and his number is suddenly DISCONNECTED! SO...NOY ONLY DOES HE PLAY GUITAR...HE PLAYS HIS CUSTOMERS!!! IM SCARED TO DRIVE MY TRUCK !!!! AS SHADY AS THE LARGEST OAK TREE ON EARTH!!!!! NUMBER IS DISCONNECTED WITHIN 20 MINUTES OF PULLING OFF FROM THE SHOP!!!!!
