I went there with my dad a year ago and I was 12 at the time and probably some of my favorite parts were the small to life scale of the giant squid and the boat but I also loved of the devil boxes as well one of the most breath takeing places
Just visted about 2 days ago, and it was absolutely inrcredible! I can't believe a place like this exists in general, especially in the middle of Wisconsin! It is for sure for my favorite destination I have ever been too, and I will for sure be going back in the future! It took us about 4 hours to get through the entire place, it is huge! My favorite part was the massive whale with the octopus and the organ room! These videos do not do this place justice, you must see it for yourself!
Ive been here 4 times over my life, now Im 40 and im bringing my teen daughter in a few wks for a weekend trip. As always we stsy at the Don Q Inn. Good memories
Im 52 my parents brought me & my sister as kid in 80' s,and in 90' s I brought my kids when they were 5 & 7. Tomorrow I'm bringing my son and next year I want bring my daughter back with grandkids. True memories! I truly enjoyed every room. half way through there's a restaurant and resting place to eat, getting something drink, and rest your feet. Usually takes 3 1/2 hours to walk through the whole house. At Halloween they even have it in dark.. I'd like try that one this fall.
Havnt been in at least a decade! This vid brings back so much nostalgia! I remember getting pizza and ice cream in the little town they have in there! God what an amazing place I'd love to explore again!!!
I remember going here in high school as a Minnesotan for an architectural drafting class. What a trip it was. I went to Meow Wolf in Sante Fe a while back and it really reminded me of this spot
I took my YT profile picture there like 10 years ago I use it for a lot of profile pictures and you showed my spot, now everytime I go as kind of tradition I take the same picture but it’s like always in a different pair of shoes
My friend went all the way down and looked through the window in the floor. She kept calling to me to come see "the tops of the trees!" I inched my way out, feeling the bouncing, and got to the railing around the window in the floor, but I couldn't look down. Now I kick myself: after going all that way I should have looked. If the Infinity Room snapped off the rest of the building I'd have been just as dead, but I'd have seen the tops of the trees.
If this is the House on the Rock in Wisconsin, I heard about this many times. I heard it was better years ago but in recent years the nick knacks had gotten dusty. But your videos shows most stuff is on glass displays. So maybe it has been updated? I do like Japanese gardens, but the Hindu vibe or that Oriental religious stuff turns me off. I did like the Merry-go-round though, was that for viewing only? no riding?
Ya this is the place in Wi. It was really cool and weird all at the same time. I thought it was pretty well kept for its age. It was a collection of everything from all around the world. If your in the area it’s worth the visit.
@@LivinIt we almost ran into each other lol me and my kids were there yesterday.ive been here before but I had to take my kids.it has a feel to it like I feel like I'm in a dream.its so cool.my kids loved the carasoul.
The video is a little too fast my dude. Personally, I don't watch video tours for a speed run of the property lol. What you showed was interesting but I wish we got a little more. 2 hours and only 7 minutes of footage?? Maybe that's because you were also trying to enjoy yourself. Either way, thanks for the vid!
My Grandparents took me there as a kid. I was about 10 years old and I’m 46 now. I still remember it . ❤️
