luckygozer Well I watched Fate/Zero without watching Stay Night and loved it. I think watching the mediocre sequel/original might actually throw people off of watching Fate/Zero.

personal opinion
to me fate zero without context didn't grab me at all and i didn't like it
later after i watched fate stay and then zero i enjoyed it
and you can definitely see that fate zero is the newer of the two it looks alot better
however storywise on it's own fate stay is better imo
the only reason i enjoyed fate zero was that i knew the characters
on their own i would call fate zero the mediocre one
luckygozer are you serious or trolling? Fate/Zero was a masterpiece. ufotable can do no wrong, much better then the romantic, childish piece of shit Fate/Stay Night was.
