@Redlarkk That isn't even a proper jumpscare. The audio might make you jump a little bit, but it isn't like somebody jumps rapidly at your face. Also the sound comes before the "I can't breathe" so it ruins the "jumpscare".

This is some of my favourite horror.
Fnaf was nearly all about the jumpscares, which could just never capture this kind of manic frenzying confusion of a girl who doesn't understand why she is no longer alive and can't breathe, only being able to describe it as a breathless sleep, like a bird in the snow
this one is so good, because of the way chica's huge dead-eyed robot face just stares at the viewer for the whole video, and then right at the end the image of the girl appears behind her. and it really sinks in that this massive, hulking, filthy hunk of creaking metal is what that little girl has become. what she's been horrifically warped into. the absolute nightmarish horror of existing in that form is made so visceral. just phenomenal.

I try to avoid using the word scary, because stuff like jumpscares don’t scare you. They give you a fright. But these deserve the word scary. I didn’t expect this stuff and it didn’t lunge at me like a jumpscare. This is truly what FNaF’s community can do.

Psychological horror! I never really had an overreaction to the jumpscares cause I could either tell they were coming and not jump and if they were and I didn't know it, I'd just jump a little. With these, this feels actually terrifying because it's all in your head. The best form of terror/horror is psychological and not some cheap jumpscare.

Personally, I believe that she was murdered and to hide the body, was left in the snow. Those might’ve been her last memories or thoughts, thinking about what she knows and how “things don’t breathe when they sleep in snow.” Before catching on to the fact that they are in the snow, bleeding to death with a realization of “I can’t breathe.” Passing away, possibly for people to see a corpse either when the snow is shoveled or when the snow thaws.

I know it’ll probably never happen but damn I’d love to see more of the missing children in the games. I really want to know what happened to them- how Afton got each of them to the back room specifically, their connections to each other, their personalities. The only one we’ve seen is Susie, with Afton luring her away with the promise of seeing her dog again, and her having a little sister and a single mother. These kids deserve for their stories to be told, because after all the hell they’ve gone through, the least the deserve is for people to know who they were- not just dead names to grieve over.

this really shows the true horror of fnaf. not cheap, repetitive jumpscares, but a story about kid’s and their souls being trapped inside animatronics. stuck, and never being able to be set free, or to ascend into the after life. this really shows the true story of fnaf in my op. it’s not about surviving from “haunted” animatronics, it’s about kids who were killed at a young age and forced to be stuck inside a robotic suit, for years and years on end.
There are multiple aspects of horror and the lore type deffinitely doesn't lack here. But this knowledge combined with the awarness that the 2 meter high and freaking unsettling maschines are self aware with this type of video makes the perfect kind of horror.

This is very cool! I like that it feels less like the VHS is trying to scare the viewer and more like the spirit of the child is talking to the viewer. It's sad while still being very scary. It's quite clear that the bird was not sleeping - neither is the spirit.

i've never been rlly scared of jumpscares bc most of the time they're pretty predictable but when u have something just kinda slowly appear in the background that may take a sec to notice literally scare me so much, not it a way that makes u scream or sum just kinda makes your heart sink or jump back, especially if it's uncanny or distorted
This is no jumpscare every second, this is no cheap glitch video, this is no random gore. THIS is horror. It dosent make you scream, jump out of your chair, and spit out your water. It's uncomfortable, unnerving, makes you stressed in ways, and (depends) makes you cry out of fear and sadness. This stuff is scary and sad at the same time. Just think about it. A 7 feet tall, dirty and destroyed, 80s style chicken with a dislocated mouth and no arms.. with a dead 8 year old child inside that has been in there for about 30 years (oh boy if those suits were real they would STINKKK and leak alot). I just cant describe how much chills this gives me

I hate to be that kind of guy, but didn't the term Horror imply that you are instinctively repulsed by a thing? Like gore or a jumpscare. The word you're looking for is Dread: The unsettling feeling where you're expecting something scary to happen but never comes.

Is it just me or is this the most disturbing one, like the fact that the cgi both looks real and doesn't at the same time, the kinda creepy lighting, the creepy music in the background, chicas design and obviously, the "I can't breathe" line, everything combines to me and makes it horrifying. I don't see why everyone is terrified of the facial testing one but not nearly as much terrified from this one.
This makes me feel even more schizo and it's and awful sensation, so disturbing and creepy...

Notice how chika mentions that she can't get up bcz it's too cold for her to do so. That's a really brilliant reference to how remnant can be released ONLY under extremely high temperature, which "melts the snow" these kids are trapped under allowing them to move on to the afterlife

Maybe like going through the lore as character-to-character with different chapters representing the different people that experienced different stories, and basically removing the aspect of “being the nightguard and working in the nightshift” type of thing, of course, the true horror will be distorted pictures, psychological horror, eerie and disturbing atmosphere etc, or maybe like experiencing the tapes on this channel

That’d be difficult, considering the environment of the first few games were made to build up fear of getting jumpscared. If anything, the first FNaF has a little psychological horror itself with it’s tension and buildup.
@@cswindow2478 Thank you. FNAF is far more than cheap jumpscares. The scary thing about FNAF is the tension building up to the jumpscare. This, though, is a completely different kind of horror - and a very scary one.

DiamondSeltzer nah, I’m sure by this time, her body would have rotten away. I doubt a restless spirit would need to breathe at all which is why it’s so painful, she’s trapped in this mechanical body with no way to breath and will be stuck like this forever until she can finally rest.
