This is astonishing, i think you have captured a mountain lion in Uttarakhand, i am not sure if it has been ever captured before in India or even known to exist in India. It was definately not a Leopard. You should share this video with the govt. Or with some wildlife experts.

@@anirudhsingh3721 yes sir, definately not a leopard. One of my friends suggested that it may be an Asian Golden Cat, which is still a rare sighting (if not as impossible as a mountain lion sighting)

However, when we took snapshots of this video and compared with Asian Golden cats on internet, logically it seems that it may be an asian golden cat, and if it is... it seems to be an extraordinarily big golden cat. But, some youtube videos of exeperienced himalayan rescuers/outdoorers like Devang Thapliyal, on BeerBicep channel dont shy away from talking about cougar sitings in Himalayas.

What a rare experience. Seeing tiger during mid night...!!!! and survival techniques of those wonderful people.!!! Shepherds are truly affectionate people. The old lady once again insisted you to have chai in the morning. You should have had chai...bcz they really mean to offer it to you... unlike city's formality. Chai is the source of morning energy for your trek in that cold weather. ANyway, its a wonderful video.
Such good people...very kind hearted...we sud learn from them...they dont have anything..but ready to help others....u sud have given them some monetary help..
They won't accept the monetary help. They are very khuddar. And by forcing them to take money I don't want to show them down. Money is too small a thing to give it to anyone.
