I raced Formula 1 Champ Boats on the IOGP series during the years of 1988, 1989, and 1990. We started the 1991 season but I was involved in a bad crash our first time out that year and it ended my career with a back injury. Prior to running the Champ Boat I raced an SST-140 for two seasons on the IOGP. I started out in the smaller classes in APBA races and worked my way up to the 140 boat, and then we only raced IOGP after that. I hope people will post more videos of IOGP races.
My dad was crewcheif for Andy Anderson's ModVP boat in 1991 and I went to a bunch of races. If anyone has video from that era (88-91) I would be interested in seeing it.
