Great Video! Do you use manual or auto focus recording on the gimbal? Cause I'm suffering from unsharp frames using AF with my A7IV and Tamron lens.

Great video love all the ideas! I thought parallax was when you orbit and you have the background moving faster than the near object. And the change in focal length as you push in is a dolly zoom ... just making sure I have my terms right :D. Curious did you publish the final video?
Oh never mind I see it at the end (hadn't gotten that far yet!)
The final edit was sweet, love that vertical orbit (?) so nice with the speed ramp.

Yeah you are right with the terms but as far as I know the shift in perspective is also referred to in the same way. But also known as a dolly zoom ☺️
@@seankitchingI think I once heard it called a Hitchcock when you push in or out physically while zooming the camera in the opposite direction. It’s can certainly give a disturbing look. So cool!!! Definitely going to try these idea son my hike today! Thanks Sean!

Yeah sure it will also work. The gimbal just makes it easier to get perfectly stable shots if that’s what you are after
