My father and grandfather were both fireman on the railroad here in the US. They all carried pocket watches like this and are all gone now. I miss my father every day but this would make a nice tribute to him. I just recently thought that I would like to do a "heritage" Christmas tree and I think I will start working on it for next year and will find something related to each ancestor and make an ornament that includes their picture and details. This would work for several of my male ancestor's. Thank you so much for sharing this idea. I look forward to seeing what else you do with Olga's dies. I have the snow globe one and that will work well for several ancestors also. I hate to see Christmas end as all the lovely projects will end.

Another great tutorial, thank you. I understand the reason for having the time set at 10 to 2 is so that it looks like a smile. X
10 to 2 is used so you can see the brand name on the face of the watch and clock. It would be clever to add an appropriate greeting word inside the shaker part where the brand name would be.
There's always next time, I have more ideas for this die set.

Love love love it! I know what you mean about wishing your grandad were still alive to give that too. Both mine are gone as well as my nans. Parents too. Wow that’s crazy. My grandfather used to have a pocket watch. Loved looking at it when I was small. I am looking forward for this and the snow globe to get here. I’m so anxious to start playing with it. Maybe even before Christmas.

Use Undu to deactivate the adhesive (doesn’t work on glue). Best stuff to use for papercrafters! Love your videos!

Lovely project but it is a shame that you only film in 480p as it's very difficult to see the fine details like the embossing.

Love this, but too much expense for set, especially when it has to be sent to Canada.
Look out for their free shipping days, they had one recently, so I'm sure they will have another in the new year 😀
I was astounded that the shipping cost was only $1 more than what I pay for shipping within the U.S.
