This flag move was inspired by Kaui Eiklor while choreographing the warrior flag routine to Crushing Snakes. It is a real Chinese sword technique she saw in a video of a sword master, and then used it during the part of the song in Crushing Snakes when Taya Smith says "tearing through the sky in wonder" (speaking of the Lord).
