this literally happened to me on how I got a developer job in Sweden. I was living in Iran worked as a developer and this was my dream, I was hopeless and depressed cause as you probably know it's not too easy for someone born in Iran to do something like this.. Yet I procrastinated and didn't believe in myself nor my skills to even apply for a job and send the email. Finally I sent the email and that was how I got it!!! I now live in Sweden and working towards my next dreams. All I needed was to ask, and who knows, what if the one email, direct message or simply asking for it, is that last thing that gets you there. Thanks to @YesTheory for spreading that message and positivity worldwide. This is really big what you are doing. I really respect that.

Edit: i keep on thinking about this idea. Should I try to email them. I live in Vegas and I know a few people. I could easily get them tickets to cirque de soleil shows and a table at drais nightclub. My dad is a pastry chef and he’s close with many other pastry chefs (could make some sort of cake/sugar sculpture?). And I work at my dads French cafe that could make for a great “romantic” date for a couple. That or my other idea was to try to get a couple of people who are turning 21 and throw them the best 21 bday ever. But I couldn’t do anything like that alone.
