What about my charms?
I've been trying to make sense of this...I was a Boxy base + boxy premium subscriber plus would get the Luxe every 3 months.
Typically the price was just under $100/month for all the boxes.
Base box you got like 5 full size items and could pick 2.
Premium you usually got at least 6 full size and could pick 2.
Luxe it was about 8 full size and you could pick at least 2.
So how are they now saying they are combing base+premium but you're only getting 5 full size products?! Doesn't that mean you're actually being shorted 6 items since you're not actually getting a premium box after all??
Plus...I quit Ipsy YEARS ago because I felt they didn't offer as high end of products and most were from cheaper brands like Ciate, Beauty Bakery or EOS. And I was seeing the same products over and over.
I've looked at the Ipsy sales (Boxycharm version of add ons, etc) and their prices just didn't compare!!
Lately Boxy has been sending tons of cheaper or unusable colors for makeup that I keep throwing into a giant box to give away but even with all the different skin tones from ghostly white to glowing olive skin, I can't find takers and am about to just dumb at a women's shelter.
Everything has been Fenty or Anastasia of other non stop repeat. I can only have so many ABH dip brows, gel or wax or clear brow, pencils..or Fenty highlighters in every shade, liquid lip in the darkest browns etc.
I had been hoping to see the big news and some of the hints meant better products with less seemingly just clearing out of old
Packaging, discontinued shades or very limited shade options.
I've cancelled every subscription I had other than Boxy and FanFitFun since they offered the biggest bang for your $ but if this turns out to be as bad as I suspect then this will sadly be my final subscription
I have both BOXYCHARM BASE BOX and IPSY GLAM BAG PLUS. They'll now be the same box now. I wanted to make sure so I can cancel my Boxycharm Base Box

I didn’t care for Ipsy at all such a waste. I canceled them after few months. If I wanted Ipsy, I would subscribe to them. I paid more for boxycharm. Will my boxycharm account get a price decrease?
I got rid of my Ipsy for the same reason , I just picked my products for April , wow , sucks so bad, the 2 products they pick was worse , I don’t use any lip stuff , I have no lips , I don’t use dry shampoo products, something boxycharm had notes on and wouldn’t pick for me . I got no selection of any kinds of makeup this month. I’ll give a few more months and see if it gets better , plus I noticed prices on boxycharm where 💯 better .
I'm SUPER bummed there will be no more bags. It's the main reason I picked ipsy over others. I use them for so much stuff. I wish they would add them as an option for a small extra charge.
Oh I'm sure they'll let you buy a bag for $7.99.
You can't fit six full size products into a tiny little bag

This is so confusing because you didn't go over what happens with my particular options!
I get Ipsy Plus with Beauty Boost option and I also have the Ipsy X upgrade. For Boxycharm I have the base box.
You said that GB+ and Boxy Base are now Boxy by Ipsy and also that Boxy Premium will now turn into Boxy by Ipsy with Beauty Boost but never what happens if we have GB+ with Beauty Boost/Ipsy X upgrade AND Boxy Base. Does that mean I'll be getting 2 new subscriptions? A Boxy by Ipsy and a Boxy by Ipsy with Boost and Icon upgrade? Or will it all merge into Boxy by Ipsy w/ Boost and Icon upgrade?
And if they are 2 separate subscriptions are they completely different products or is the only difference the boosted item?
I'm excited to see what the merge brings but you should've gone over what happens with every combination of subscriptions, not just some of them like you did. There are too many of us who have no idea what is going to be happening with our current subscription combos! I'm tempted to cancel everything until after the merge and then resub if I can't figure out what's going to happen.

Will the price be the same?…
I now have Boxycharm Base and Boxycharm Premium. Will the new Boxycharm + Beauty Boost (replacing Premium) be the same 5 products I'll receive in Boxycharm (replacing Base) plus one more item? In other words, if I subscribe to both Base and Premium, am I going to get the same 5 products in both boxes (and one new/additional one in Boxycharm + Beauty Boost)?
If we have both the Boxycharm Base Box and the Ipsy Plus is there anything that we need to do as the accounts merge to avoid getting two boxes in April?
This is also my question, because if they’re merging and are now the same box, I don’t want to pay for two of them, so I’d like to know what to do if I currently pay for and receive both!

I want to know too. We may get two Boxycharm base boxes with different items in each and 3 different choice items for each. My problem is my login information is the same for both sites. How will that work if my Boxycharm membership merges with my Ipsy membership? I have the same username for each! I did send an email but have yet to hear back. I may just cancel my Boxycharm subscription now to prevent two of the same base boxes.

So am I still being billed on the first on the month? But now my products will be coming later in the month? (Currently have boxy base)

I have base, premium and luxe with boxy, and plus with Ipsy….yet no one is addressing how we will be billed or how those merge 🤨
I currently get the Glam Bag Plus, Glam Bag X, BoxyCharm Base and the BoxyCharm Luxe.
Does this mean that starting in April, my accounts will merge and I'll be just getting one BoxyCharm box per month which will be upgraded quarterly to the IconBox?
All of my subscriptions are under the same email, debit card and address.
I am in the same situation too. I don’t have Boxy Luxe but I do have Glam Bag X. I guess they are turning to one ICON box. I do have the same email address and card information on both Ipsy and Boxy. I don’t know how I’ll be able to separate the two if Boxy is merging to Ipsy’s account. Maybe we will get two different base boxes with the option to choose 3 products in each box making them different. Then you’ll get 2 ICON boxes. I’m just guessing and searching for other potential answers.

I have been with BPXUCHARM FOR A DECADE. I RECEIVED 5 BIG SAMPLES HORRIBLE THE FIRST TIM I WAS VERY DISSATISFIED WITH THE BOXYCHARM I WAS ALWAYS HAPPY I HAVE BEEN WITH CHARM SINCE THEY LAUNCHED THERE FIRST BOX AND TIS IS UNBELIEVABLE THAT I RECEIVED Is repeated items as well
I thought part of the fun was the excitement of not knowing everything that you’re getting. Still sounds good though
You don't have to open the email if you really don't want to. They can randomize your picks for you too if you don't want to select anything yourself.

Ugh. Ok Ipsy. I'm not subscribed anyway because of the constant money 💰 coming out of my account. It was an addiction and they encouraged it. And it was a LOT of money all the time. Enough is enough.
Yeah they tricked me into a yearly membership my boyfriend paid for for Christmas in December right And then January 1st they were going to charge his card another $300 for another year I'm like I haven't even received one box yet and you're already going to charge me another $300 and I wasn't sure if they were going to just send me two boxes every month or if they were going to add another year onto the already existing year I hadn't received yet. And now that they're merging I'm not eligible for any of this boxycharm exclusive benefits with ipsy. Until my yearly membership is up and I get my last box and I resubscribe to a monthly box.

Me too and now all of a sudden it's back to choice and life you don't get choice on time then you don't get the good products because everybody else gets them and that's what I liked about boxycharm as I didn't have to worry about any of that
Thank you for taking the Drop Shop away. I really enjoy it now we are only able to drop shop a few times a year? Because that's what your website says. I go on there and I look now at the shop and there's only five or eight things available when boxycharm had hundreds. This is ridiculous you took everything away that I loved about boxycharm and you made it into Ipsy which I cannot stand. I hate your company that's why I don't buy your products and now you're forcing me into a space where I have to pick things I didn't want. I liked not knowing what I was getting, that was kind of cool to be getting a surprise.GOOD PRODUCTS SUPRISE.
